(With the addition of an UPDATE. ) Wow. I got this yesterday (actually, last night) and immediately put it on. I immediately felt relief in my upper back and shoulder blades. I didn't notice a difference until I walked past my husband wearing it under my hoodie and he commented on how different I looked. "It's good to be different," he clarified. br>Because it can be uncomfortable, the instructions recommend starting with a short period of time and gradually increasing. I wore it for an hour the night I got it, and the discomfort was mostly under my armpits, but it wasn't unbearable, and it was well worth it for the instant change and pain relief. br>br>Meanwhile, here's a little bit about myself: My height is 5'3", my weight is 130 pounds, and I have a medium build. Since the age of 14, I've had large breasts and bad posture, causing neck and upper back pain. I was twelve years old at the time. I've been a competitive swimmer for years, so I've developed broad shoulders that are still bothersome to me after all these years. Since high school, I've been seeing a chiropractor once a week for neck and back pain, which has helped but never completely relieved the pain for long enough for me to miss a week. UPDATED! br>br> 1/3/21br>br>I've been wearing this brace almost every day since I got it, but I'm now able to wear it less frequently and for shorter periods of time, so it's more of a refresher when I need it. br>br>My chiropractor told me in the first few weeks after I got it that my neck wasn't in desperate need of adjustment (as it had been every week for years). Because of the difference in my posture and neck, he actually asked me the same question about the brace. My entire family couldn't believe the difference (including my sisters on Facetime from across the country)! This was a Christmas present that they all wanted. As a result, I now have one for everyone in my family! br>br>For me and now my family, this product worked (and continues to work). It's not pleasant (and it still hurts my armpits), but it's worth it after years of excruciating neck pain and migraines. I'm amazed that this brace was able to help me so much in less than a month after decades of poor posture!.

I just got my brace yesterday and wore it for about half an hour, so this review is based on that experience. br>Because my family has recently noticed and commented on my poor posture, I've ordered a new chair for my home office, a lumbar support cushion for my work chair, and this thing for when I'm not at either. br>br>Because I have a large torso and broad shoulders, I wasn't sure how long the straps should be. I eventually decided to wear them with only slightly longer straps than the defaults because they're elastic and fairly strong, and they easily held my shoulders back in the proper posture. My family noticed that I was standing straighter right away, indicating that they're doing their job, and the relatively tight straps didn't cause any noticeable discomfort. br>br>The seller suggests that you wear them for short periods of time until you get used to them, and I can see why: My shoulders were getting sore, so I only wore them for half an hour. br>br>The fact that my muscles are sore indicates that my body is doing some of the work (probably unconsciously) to keep my shoulders back, which is good news: It means that while wearing the brace, my rear deltoids will tighten up over time, improving my posture even when I'm not wearing it. This isn't the best solution for bad posture, in my opinion. The best chest and upper/lower back exercises are barbell exercises - br>br>I can't say how well this would help people with long-term injuries or chronic pain because I don't have either, but at least as far as a single wearing this product appears to be exactly what it's advertised to be. br>br>If you don't have time or access to a gym, this is at least a reasonable alternative. br>br>I can't say how well this would help people with long-term injuries or chronic pain because After a month or so of wearing it, I'll update this review. EDIT: br>br> I've had the brace for two weeks now, and I can confidently say that it's much more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time now than it was when I first got it. I've recently resumed my weightlifting routine, so it's difficult to say which has had the greater impact, but I've noticed that I'm sitting up straight without having to force myself. Because this involves tense muscles, I have a little more soreness after long periods of sitting with no back support than I did before, but it's fading as I get used to it.

My sore back was saved thanks to the ComfyBrace posture corrector. After years of going about my business, posture naturally faded from my consciousness. I hunched over while playing with my kids, slouched while folding laundry late at night, and knelt countless times to pick up toys and trash from the floor. I was so preoccupied with taking care of all the things that seemed so important that my back quietly followed suit, until one day it didn't.
