No clue how thick it is, but I use two charcoal on my hookah and it lasts a while. It just depends on how many people are around and how often you pull it. In my opinion, for the price, this is an excellent product. My best guess is that I'll order this again when I get paid.
If it doesn't glow, blow on it or wave it until it does. It burns when it comes into contact with oxygen.

Coals of a high quality. I have found this to be the best quick light ever. The lights are quick to turn on. It takes roughly 30 minutes for each coal to burn. It is not recommended to smoke them for a long period of time as coconut coals can. In order to smoke off one coal, you will need 45 minutes of time I'm going to get coconut coals in 60 minutes. Whenever you are looking to smoke for 30 minutes, Three Kings is an excellent choice. Using one coal (about 30 minutes) in 4 spots means I burn my entire head with four coals. It is hard for me to find things I dislike.
There have been about 12 different coals I have used and these are by far the best! They work just as hookah coals are supposed They ignite and burn on their own when I light them with a lighter! Since I no longer have to heat coals over the stove, I no longer have to get up and do it. This is something we really love! I was very pleased with the shipping as well. It arrived quickly, and the packaging was excellent! The ones I ordered came in a box, so I can easily store them! It couldn't have been better. It has been a pleasure doing business with you. The flames of these candles light quickly, but burn out quickly. There is a time when the charcoal center turns red, but that only lasts a minute, so it's unusable for burning The same thing happens with each one, I've gone through a dozen of them. There is no way I can tell if the items I received are defective As soon as I contacted Prestige Bubbles, they did not respond. In either case, I am unwilling to test another product, even if it is this bad. Changing back to my old brand was a good decision.
The top quality I have found so far has been much better than cheaper brands.
This charcoal is what I use frequently and will continue to buy it.
I love this light, it made life a lot easier.
