The one I have is absolutely gorgeous and has no dents at all. In addition to being very durable and looking incredible, the matte surface also endures very well. While the glossier RAW logo came scratched due to the scoop card sliding around in shipping, overall, I am still completely satisfied with it, and I think it is a great value. There is enough depth in the tray, and the gold finish on the back gives it a nice contrast, and it is rolled perfectly, so cleaning is effortless. A decent size, and I'm using it as a helmet head organizer to hold all my ums. This tray is perfect for nesting "paraphernalia". Those of you who are still reading this and wondering if you should buy it, I recommend highly purchasing it. for the other reviewer's statement about dented units, I understand why such a thing occurs. There is an authentic certificate of authenticity on the bottom of the tray and a scoop card on top they arrive in a thin clear wrapper. The packaging of this product is very minimal. This is then placed in a thin "padded" envelope, which should it get dropped in a truck or bin with other things, or if something should slide into it or fall on top of it, it can easily get dented even though the tray is thick. The odds are that you will receive a dented one if you live in a rural area or your drivers just don't care, unless they bundle it with other goods. In my case, I ordered mine assuming it would arrive dented, so when I opened the package I was This one was a must-own for me since everything I own is black on black- I find it easy to click.

As advertised, this isn't as matte as it seems. There is still a lot of gloss on the surface, and it is easily scratched. Brass makes up the bottom of the suitcase, not black. Gentle bummer, but My package arrived 2 days early, and I have previously used this RAW online retailer. I have always had good results from them in the past when it came to wrapping paper, cones and papers. First blunder but will continue to use this retailer despite good.
First time I used the plastic card that came with it, it was already scuffed up with gloss. The metal tray controls itself in a similar way to In the same thickness and style as before. This tray has a blacked out look that I like.
