Questions & Answers

Is this machine capable of cutting cigars with a ring gauge of 70?

This machine is routinely used for cutting 66 and 70 ring gauge cigars. Holding them is easy, but you need to hold them firmly.

Two of the rubber circles located in the bottom of the cutter are missing. I bought it quite a while ago. There is now an uneven surface. What do I need to do in order to obtain ?

wish to buy an American cutter, you can find it from the manufacturer.

My brother and I just bought this cutter, so I wanted to know what cigars are supposed to be used on both sides of it. Where is the hole with a slit in it?

There are some people who prefer a "V" cut over a It is less likely that the cigar wrapper will unravel if it is cut in the "V" shape. If the cigar is too large or the wrapper is too tight, you might not be able to get as much draw from it as you would with a full cut however, this situation The straight edge can always be used to recut the cigar if you feel it needs more of a draw, but more often than not, if the draw is bad, it's due to a plug For the "V", you have two size options depending on the width (gauge) of your cigar, as you would for a straight cut.

Can you tell me what kind of material the body of this cutter is made of?

My guess is that the cutting mechanism is made from stainless steel. I believe the metal is a combination of alloys fused together.

The cutter is very reliable and great
5/5

My original draft of this post date back to May of last year. By now, it is February 2021, and that cutter has not only cut at least a couple of cigars a day (sometimes a dozen or more when friends stop by), but it has also been outside at least 50% of the time, including during the rainy season here in Arizona. 2 years after the end of It is still as sharp as ever and there is no rust on it despite being left in the rain for several Below I mentioned how durable the two-piece set is, which is what I said in my prior review It can now be said that this four-cut model is better than what the three cut model was. As of right now, I am giving this 6 stars. The original is as This is something I've been looking for for quite some time. I bought three of these a few years ago as gifts for friends, and bought the two cut model which had a plunger that cut as opposed to the lever handle on this one. It is thought that they stopped producing products since they were very hard Thank you for bringing this to my attention on Amazon. I now have both the 4 and the 2 I have left my two-cut model outside for many years (I can only smoke outside) and after a little oil now and then to help the plunger, it is still in great condition and razor There are no issues with the model that my friends who use it have experienced after using it for many years.

The device is very expensive, but it also does a great job
4/5

It was for my club that I bought it. It is better to drop cigar cuttings on the floor, a table top, or into the humidor than on the top of the cutter. You don't have to deal with flimsy plastic hand cutters anymore. During a cut, it is possible to tip the cutter It is wise to exercise some caution when using the item for the first time.

When it arrives, it is dull as a result of the packaging
3/5

I find a dull cutter to be the worst affliction in being an avid cigar smoker. Having this in my "garage man cave" keeps my cutters safe and you don't have to keep finding them. This desktop cutter is generic and looks just like any other desktop cutter. Therefore, I would like to mention this. After all, it was a dull day. Attempt to use it led to the destruction of a couple cigars. The return of.

I love how clean the cuts are
5/5

Definitely not to be disappointed. There is no problem with the weight not holding the unit down while it is.

You will find your cigars ripped apart and mangled
3/5

My interest was piqued to see that this table top cutter allowed me to cut straight lines and V-cuts in multiple Quite simply, this cigar cutter does not cut cigars. It tears and mangles them instead. As soon as you pull the handle and it reaches your cigar and starts to squeeze it, you can see it being squeezed and then it begins to rip Cigar wrappers break and tear when you squeeze them, which is why the cutter was able to rip through them. The only thing I can say of this cutter that seems good is how well constructed the exterior seems to be. The use of this to ruin your cigars is not an option when you value them as much as I do. It was returned. Finding one that works is still a problem.

The best cigar cutter I have ever used! After having used one at the Humidor cigar shop in San Francisco, I got this cutter
5/5

The product works well and offers a clean cut at a decent price. It makes better use of your time. This makes for a great conversation piece at our cigar club on the deck on Friday nights. Furthermore, it saves table space since just one cutter can be used instead of individual cutters sitting on each table.

There's no way to do it, sadly
3/5

She is back. Despite the blades being partially across the cigar hole, they did not go all the way through. A cigar worth $13 was torn in half by a V cut. I was forced to return the product due to faulty You could force the blades to cut completely if you pushed them down.
