A Boveda pack can be kept for over a year if kept in an airtight acrylic jar. When it comes to maintenance costs, they are much better than wooden humidors.
Over fiberboard there is a laminated cedar surface.
It's hard for me to imagine how one way would affect the other. This works perfectly for me when it is stored upright. It will last several months when you use a Bolveda pack.
The lid of the hydrometer is most likely misaligned if you keep it closed tightly. It is also required that you use Boveda 60 grams. Here's some advice I hope is helpful *br>

I'm going to tell you how it is. It costs $8 to get this same container at Wally World. The floor is not made of cedar and there is no Boveda pack with it. It's still easier to put together for less than the stated price if you look at the math. This is new to me, but I wanted to put it to the test. I do not know how important it is to have a cedar floor, although it is a nice touch. I do not like how big the Boveda pack is that comes with it. That's how it was, or at least how I got it. As a result, i attached a digital hygrometer to the lid with its display facing up. With the jar full of stoges and the 69% boveda packet that comes with it, the hygrometer showed It took a lot of burping to keep the jar at 73. 75 percent. It is rated at 72% for an 8g boveda. Since then I have switched over to the big 69% pack in my humidor with a capacity of 100 gallons. As a result of the smaller pack, the percentage stays at 70%. There is no need to burp. It turned out to be a good decision. In the end, however, if I need more storage I can always get it at my local wally world and skip the cedar veneer. In the event that you do not want to put one together, then this is a good deal. Make sure you understand the humidity requirements when using It's your call. A great accent to my bar, and it has a place for the sticks I am usually sharing with other guests.
To stay around your preferred number, you should open it to allow some air to flow under it, as it seems to climb a few In addition to the large 60 gram Bovida pack pictured (not the one I have, I have a 10 gram). My opinion is that it is a great value for the price. The package was well packed and it worked perfectly!.
Almost gave this two stars, but because the price is reasonable and it works well for cigar storage, I gave it three. It would not be my choice to purchase it again as advertised. Instead, I would buy the Boveda pack separately and then a plain acrylic jar. Despite the good price, I wasn't completely satisfied with this purchase since the "Spanish Cedar" piece at the bottom was actually made of MDF with fake wood grain on the top side, so I took I grew it into a Tuperdor instead of a hybrid Tuperdor, since I don't need Spanish Cedar for it. Although it is humidor, it does a great job of holding in humidity, and it does not smell of plastic, so your cigars will not be tainted by it. I have heard on the internet that cigar wrappers can still be damaged by light when storing them in this type of container, but I shouldn't run into problems. Having said that, let's get to the point.
In addition, the Boveda pack that comes with it is great, since you don't have to purchase one separately. My cigars get plenty of room in this humidor, which is tall enough to fit them all. Although I wish it was glass, the acrylic looks good in my display case and is crystal clear. There is probably another one I will purchase in.
The last time I attempted to keep some sticks in a humidor, the humidor was difficult to handle. My storage of sticks eventually became a problem, so I stopped doing it. My search for a travel humidor for the few sticks I might buy from time to time led me to this acrylic humidor, which I found after experimenting with a few different types. I find the capacity of 25 sticks to be more than enough, and the airtight seal keeps everything in! I placed my sticks inside the humidor after receiving it and washed it so as to get rid of the plastic smell. The humidity was maintained at 69% using the Boveda 69% pack that was The humidity level of the sticks no longer needs to be monitored continuously, so I can preserve them without having to worry about it. I keep the humidor in my closet, and I place a digital hygrometer inside of it to see how humid it is so I can change the humidipak when necessary. Those who are new to smoking, or who are seeking a low maintenance method of storing their sticks, should consider this.
Right away, this was a top pick. I'm amazed at the size of this thing. Lastly, I have put in 25 robusts and hygrometer (Anync Round Cigar Hygrometer. Additionally, the cigar humidor comes with a boveda humidifier pack that keeps the cigars in top form. The boveda humidifier pack was easy to install and has kept the cigars moist and fresh. In my humidor I maintain a steady temperature of 70-75 degrees There is an effective seal on 71% of this humidor! Please do not second guess based on the fact that it is acrylic! It's a great size, has a great seal, and is superbly built with good quality materials. Buy this now and save yourself the trouble of searching!.
It's not the first time I've used it, but I've been using it for the longest time, maybe it holds 35 cigars. (How many cigars are in 50? challenged myself to keep up My acrylic jar is large enough to hold about 20 to 25 bottles of bottles The pack can hold up to 25 cigars, depending on which cigars you smoke, and I have been able to keep my levels consistently high with just one broveda pack. There are two different hygrometers in it and both report the same levels, +/- 7% A percentage of the total. This is a highly recommended book! There is a good chance I will get another.
Unlike other containers, this jar is easy to use, airtight, looks attractive on a shelf, and will come with a Boveda pack, which is why it is really no hassle to set up just open and begin Since I've only been using it for about 2 weeks, I can't really comment on how it performs on a longer term basis, but so far it's doing well.
