I don't have any brass screens to compare them to, but they aren't flimsy in my opinion.
So they're soft and nice and thin, I'd say!
Don't buy it if you're going to use it for "tobacco." It just sits there and doesn't stick, making a huge mess and a pain in the buttocks.

These aren't made of stainless steel in the traditional sense. They do not stick to a magnet and burn through. Because of what these are intended to be used for, stainless steel is a must for health reasons. For the record, I received only 186 as well. I'm not particularly concerned with the amount, but wouldn't it be nice if, for once, something arrived with at least the amount advertised?.
When I first saw these, I thought to myself, "Oh, thick great. " They do, however, clog up twice as quickly as the thin ones I purchased from another company. The thick ones last a week or two and don't fall out when I clean my pipe cigar pipe, but I have to replace the screen every day because it falls out when I clean it. I thought these were fantastic at first, but after a week and a half of use, I'm no longer so sure. It could be better for pot smokers, but I'm not sure about that. In any case, not any longer. They are, however, terrible for cigar tobacco wood pipes. I should have paid the extra three dollars for my preferred brand.
After only a few uses, the screens were completely destroyed. These screens are not suitable for pipes, in my opinion.
We like it! My family and I (myself, older brother, and mother) all use marijuana for medical reasons (I'm literally dying from two autoimmune diseases and a failing liver, my brother has two autoimmune diseases and arthritis, and my mother has more issues and disorders than I care to list), and we're always annoyed by the lack of filter durability. Mum is in her eighties, and the rest of us are in our twenties. These are very popular among us. Despite the fact that the pipes are all different sizes (my own is pictured), they all hold up and bend just enough to cover just enough of the holes to prevent ash debri from falling through. Furthermore, free shipping is a godsend for three disabled people living on a combined budget of $500. 00 per month.
It's simple to mold to the shape of your bowl. Each time you smoke, you must use a new screen, at least that's how I do it. Isn't it better to have the black stuff on the screen instead of in your lungs or clogging your pipe?.
The screens are plentiful and durable for the price, and I would buy them again, but WHY would you sell them in such a difficult-to-open tin that spills out everywhere when you finally pry it open?.
I bought these to put in my glass spoon pipe to prevent leaf from being sucked through the pipe; they fit fine in the bowl, but when the fire touches them, they pop out violently, taking all of my smoking material with them and landing a foot away. Unfortunately, this renders them useless for glass spoon pipes, which I prefer to use. I use the tin they came in as a carrying case for my steel pen vapes, so it's become the most useful part of the order. )br>br>They may be compatible with other pipe styles, and there are plenty of them.
