The knife arrived quickly, which I appreciated, and I've only had it for a short time, but it's been quite useful thus far. It has some flexibility when it comes to breaking down sub-sections. The length is ideal for denuding long swipes and other primals. I haven't had it long enough to know how durable the edge is, as I previously stated. However, I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't have the full tang of the original. Otherwise, so far, it's been fantastic.

Nice knife, but where is the box? I ordered a nice knife, but it's a little pricey for a knife, and it doesn't come with a box? How am I supposed to wrap this and give it as a gift during the Christmas season? In a bag, it looks so cheesy

It comes in a bubble-wrapped envelope for shipping. Isn't it true that the knife couldn't be shipped in a box? It is extremely sharp and could cause injury if it were to pierce the shipping bag. Aside from that, there's a good chance it'll bend.
