My problem with plastic silverware is that I hate it. Most knives are either too soft (the kind that cannot cut because it bends too much) or too brittle for picking up, and you break an tine. The meat was plentiful and tender but was not cut even when roasted potatoes, soft cheese, etc. were served. This does not seem to be a good option.
Their flavor is similar to that of wood, and they break easily. I was surprised to find them smaller than I initially anticipated.
