This is a pretty and functional design. It's hard for me to say how durable they are if I were to put them in the dishwasher, but they seem sturdy to me. Those are the ones that my colleagues are stealing from me.

Straws are one of my daughter's favorite foods. Since then, the habit of chewing straws has been stopped. As of yet, I haven't noticed chew marks on any of the tips. It seems to be a good fit for her. It looks like a spray was applied, then they weren't rolled over to cover the other side of the straw so the whole thing is gold. My daughter loves the rainbow effect. Her only concern is that the straw looked like it was coated on one side and not the other. The line has a gold color to it. If you lay some bent straws to the left and some to the right, some of the straws look rainbow colored and others look gold colored. They are supposed to be like this, but I am not sure if that is the case. I do not have any other item that has the gold line in this rainbow color. It says nothing about this in the description. A lot of the silicone tips just slide right off the straw, as well. They will fall over or slowly slide away if you turn them upside down. I didn't have much trouble working with most of the systems they worked exactly as they should. In my reply, I said, "We'll make the silicone tips better to fit the straws, thank you for your time* ". I also replied, "We've also got 2 more options for the straws". Despite their best efforts, they did not adequately address my concerns. It does not seem to have changed flavor. It is a solid material they don't easily bend. There seems to be no easy way to scratch them. Keeps the lips from getting burned when you're drinking hot drinks with silicone tips. There are some firm tips in this article. Protecting the teeth is one of their functions.

There are like four little wooden scrubbers that come with them to clean inside, and the silicon tips are perfect for people like me who normally bite off straw ends. The Rainbow set I purchased matched the Rainbow travel set I also have. Since plastic is bad for the environment, I dislike using it, and sometimes it's too much of a hassle to send back dirty silverware and ask for a clean one.
