Questions & Answers

Is it possible to refill a utility lighter, such as those used in the kitchen to light the oven?

If you're referring to the long lighters, butane is required, not this.

Is it possible to refill the container without removing the top? I'm thinking of using it as a dropper bottle for oil painting medium. ?

The top unscrews but does not turn. It appears that a screwdriver could be used to pry it off. I don't have an empty can with which to test it, and I don't want to waste my full can if it doesn't work.

Is it possible to use this in a kerosene lighter?

It's something I seriously doubt. Zippo fluid is a naptha-based fluid that burns at a much lower temperature than kerosene. It's a lot like gasoline and a lot less like kerosene.

Is it butane that you're using?

It's a liquid fuel, not a solid fuel.

Zippo Lighter Fluid is a liquid that can be used in Zippo lighters
4/5

I'm not sure what else to say. This is a 4 oz bottle of Zippo lighter fluid for Zippo lighters (and any other lighter that uses lighter fluid). br>br>— THE KEY TO OPENING —br>You won't be able to open this with your normal fingernails. To open this bottle, you'll need a Zippo lighter. Lift the bottle up by placing a lighter cover over the white notch [photos]. Tada! This is an excellent safety feature because it prevents the flammable substance from being accidentally opened. — FLAMMABLE —br>This is lighter fluid, so wash your hands after you've finished refilling your lighter. br>br>— REFILLING —br>This lighter fluid dries up quickly; if I fill my lighter to the brim and don't use it for a month, the fluid will be completely depleted and I will need to refill. This appears to be a waste of time, so I recommend only refilling your lighter when you will be using it.

However, it accomplishes what it is supposed to accomplish
4/5

To begin with, why is flavor even a consideration in this piece? Please, if you're drinking this, put it down! Second, I almost always (almost always) buy the other brand, the one with the yellow bottle and blue writing. And that bottle will last you a lifetime! I also have to refill much less when I use the other brand. br>br>As I looked around, I noticed that everyone and their mother was using Zippo Brand Lighter Fluid. It lasts longer, burns cleaner, and so on. br>br>I used to be able to refill the yellow bottle every two weeks. For three weeks, I smoked every day. br>br>With the Zippo bottle, I have to refill it every three days. 5 days. I'm not sure if it's a cleaner burn, but I'll take the yellow bottle over the black bottle any day of the week when it comes to refilling the zippo. Nonetheless, it functions, earning you four instead of five stars.

THE ZIPPO SMELL WE ALL KNOW
5/5

What good is it to smoke if you don't have a Zippo lighter and lighter fluid? It's a great feeling to smoke a cigarette, drink a beer, and light up a Zippo lighter while smelling the fluid fire while playing video poker. This isn't for you if you can't relate to it.

Make sure your Zippo is in good working order
5/5

This is a very straightforward procedure. Zippo lighter fluid should be used if you have a Zippo lighter. Why on earth would you want to risk damaging your Zippo lighter by using that yellow brand? I strongly advise you to use genuine Zippo products. Zippo lighter fluid, Zippo wick, and Zippo flint. If you take care of your Zippo, it will take care of you.

I was able to get all of my older zippos to work as well as new! I received my first zippo as a gift a few years ago, and after a while, it took me 5 flicks to light it, then 10, then 20, then 30, until it finally stopped working
5/5

br>br>I put the zippo in a drawer and haven't looked at it since. The issue with owning zippos is that you don't know how to keep them in good working order. Those who own a zippo should be aware that it requires flint (a spark), a wick, and, of course, a match. FUEL! br>br>Well, I decided to dust off my old zippo and order this! I learned a lot about zippos on the internet and realized how simple they are. I also noticed that I'm out of flint when I removed it. As a result, I added a pack of flints and wicks to my order. br>br>When compared to a regular butane lighter, Zippos perform better in the wind. In most cases, they will remain lit in a light-colored environment. The wind is moderate. One should be in the possession of every man!.

This stuff burns exactly how you'd expect it to
5/5

This fluid is required if your zippo lighter does not actually light a fire. Simply fill the cotton portion of the lighter on the inside. After that, try the lighter for a second time, and you'll notice a significant difference. br>br>Strongly suggested! br>br>.

It was good, but it was way too expensive
4/5

Only purchase if a small can is required. This stuff isn't all that interesting. Despite its high cost, Zippo brand fluid is far more pure than off-brand fluid. competitors with the same brand Nothing else compares to the way it burns, and I'd never use anything else to clean lubricating oil from small parts during a change. The 4oz size makes it ideal for storage in small spaces (such as a backpack), and the container is durable enough to withstand light pressure and bumps. If you're going to use it for that, you should still put it in a bag, but it should be fine. br>br>However, if you have the space, you should just buy a 12oz can - The cost is roughly half as much for three times the fluid, and you'll undoubtedly use it.

What you'd expect from Zippo lighter fluid
5/5

In my Zippo brand lighter, I only use Zippo lighter fluid. I've never used any other lighter fluid, so I can't compare them. I don't have any complaints because the price on Amazon is fair and it does the job of refilling my lighter. My lighter seemed to work fine once it was filled.
