In my case, the UPC is 761712100029 on the bulb package. Several years ago, I purchased it and since then it has been stored in a drawer As of today (February 2021), it has been called up for service. This one I had on hand was very handy to have, and I was shocked at how much it would cost to buy another back-up one I hate that!

During business hours, Ott can be reached at If you have a specific model of Ott-lite, contact them directly and ask for the bulb that will work I don't know where I can get replacement bulbs for different models of Lite.
Despite not knowing anything about lamp repair, I took my burned out bulb and matched it to the picture on the web, then looked at the power consumption. It was this way that I came across the right bulb.

A few years ago, I purchased an OTT tape A handy magnifying glass is included with this lite. After much frustration, I had my handy husband examine my old and replacement bulbs before ordering a replacement. Initially, it looked like the replacement bulb would fit, but after much frustration, it didn't. (He checked his calipers for the differences in size between the old and new bulbs) While inserting the new ones in the lamps, he found a tiny difference in size between them. The new bulb fit easily into the lamp slots after he filed off the plastic points (plus he applied Vaseline to make it more slippery). As a result, the bulb has been installed and is working fine. Photos of the new bulb's packaging are above As we come to a close - This is what my old bulb looked like with the insertable end. The two plastic points in my lamp have been filed down so the two ink pen points can fit into the lamp. My husband marked their position with an ink pen pointer. It is my hope that this will help anyone experiencing a similar issue.
The OttLite lamp did not work when I placed the bulb in it. It shook when it came out of the box. The device ended up being a Sunlite PL13/SP65K 13-inch A two-watt compact fluorescent light bulb I was able to buy the replacement OttLite bulb from Amazon at a fraction of the price of the defective one. The bulb is as bright as the original, and it's a bonus to have an extra bulb for when I need it for my other OttLite lamp.
According to Ott bulbs, they die a slow, dim death, turn gray, and do not simply burst into life the way incandescent bulbs do. I was told by customer service that I needed an A bulb, but it didn't mention anything about magnetic and other such things. The after-effect is similar to that described here, but the before-effect is In 2008, there was certainly a need. I received my Atlanta Light Bulb the next day I ordered, it showed up the day after I ordered it, and I now have light!.
It works great. Twenty years ago, I bought two Ott lights that I still use to this day. When I first purchased them, I had read about Ott's clever design, which recreates natural daylight more accurately than conventional bulbs. The first time I used an Ott desk light, I was blown away by how clear the light was for reading documents instead of the usual bluish illumination normally produced by fluorescent and incandescent bulbs. These days I use almost entirely LED bulbs around the house, but I still use the two Ott lamps. Despite the fact that it has not been my previous experience, the quality of the lighting remains superior.
The protected area is very well maintained. Initially, it was not that easy to install in the old lamp. It needed a bit of force to push into the socket, and I was scared I would break it, but it eventually snapped in, and the light quality seems similar to that of I am so grateful for my OttLite which is now in working order and at a fraction of the price of a brand.
Based on the age of the lamp, it is very easy to select the wrong 13w bulb. While purchasing the lamp, I was unaware of what I was getting myself into. I suggest that the package and the bulbs are clearly labelled as to the type of bulb that should be used It is advisable to include the lamp's model number in such a description. That being said, I would like to point out A bulb that worked well for many years lasted when used in the original. My new bulb may not last as long as I expected, so I bought an extra bulb just in case this model is discontinued in the future.
The OttLite lamp I've had for several years has been replaced with this one While the original sure lasted me quite a long time, this replacement sure does look like it will last just as long! I'm so glad I found the replacement bulb because I am in love with If I need one soon, I'll be glad to know where to go so I can find one. They're quite useful when carrying out any task. I hope I don't need one any time soon, but I'm glad I know where.
The bulb I purchased was to replace the original, which had burned out in my old bulb A few years ago, I owned an Ott Lite. For the first time, I watched a video to remember how to install it, but once I installed it, it worked perfect. You should know how old your Otto is if you are not sure To help you make it easy, the best thing to do is to choose the correct bulb and watch the iTube installation videos if unsure. The new bulb has not been in use long enough to comment on how long it will last.
