It cost a little over $1 to get 6 F8T5 halophosphor long tubes. The cost is $1.00 per piece. "CH LIGHTING" uses the rare earth halophosphor powder on their line of lighting Apparently, their advertising claims it to be a stable quality, reliable, long life span, energy saving (8 W) lamp with a 3000K color temperature (closer to tungsten than fluorescent), and also comfortable for the An ordinary day - It will be hard on my eyes if the light tube has a temperature close to 5000K or 6000K. They seem to be good bulbs, but I only have one at the moment. The problem is In the second month the bulb does not start completely at the first time it is turned on. The bulb is flickering In the end, I turned the bulb ON and OFF again. It worked just fine, and it gives a pleasant color. I sometimes even leave it on during the day. Light is present. Living in Seattle is so dark in the winter that you must have some light on most of the time. I am also using an old light fixture that I found in the basement 25 years ago, so I'm not sure whether this bulb has a slight problem or my old device has a problem. During next month's testing I will test another bulb. However, I encourage you to buy it, the price is very good and I am sure it will work well for you. I like that I don't have to worry about my portable radios or phone being interfered with by any electromagnetic fields.
The piece is 11 and 7/8 inches long, including the prongs. This is a good undercounter lighting fixture.
For RV fixtures, these bulbs operate at 12 volts
My fixture was not fixed by these, so I was unable to use them. Sylvania makes a bulb that works in my fixture, so that's what I bought. At the end of each bulb is a rectangle they're a little shorter, but the main difference is the shape of the bulb. In order to install the fixture, you need to rotate it and then snap it in place. My fixture turned out to be a little tricky to find what worked. The lighting company in my area took care of it right away after I took it to them with a sample bulb.

The under-cabinet lights in my kitchen have two of these bulbs On August 7, there was a light fixture over the counter. We are now on August 12 and one of the bulbs has failed after 120 hours in service. It apparently does not have the advertised lifespan of 20,000 hours. My hope is that this will be a one-time thing I will not be optimistic, but I am not pessimistic. Previous bulbs I used to use last for at least a year and a half for 24/7 use. I will update this review as soon as possible. During the week of August 7, another bulb whose installation was completed failed. It was August 13 when the failure occurred. It has only been on for around 130 hours, far short of the advertised 20,000-hour lifespan. Looks like this product will not work. I am not encouraging. The August 15th update has been posted. It has been six months since the bulb was installed on August 12. It is no longer necessary for me to write my reviews. In this case, it is evident that the bulbs are essentially ineffective. Over the next week or so, I expect the remaining bulbs to go out. It is not recommended to use this product. I would think it would be a waste of time and effort to replace the burned out lamps.
The first thing to note is that Amazon DOES NOT have experience shipping The packet usually comes in a padded envelope, and usually one or two of them is broken when it arrives. A funny thing is that a very small and not at all fragile item is going to be sent in a cardboard box when it only needs an envelope. My experience indicates that bulbs are most often packaged in padded envelopes, which I found that at least one and maybe both bulbs were just a sliver too long and didn't fit well in The clips were plastic, so I was afraid that I would break them. My new bulb fit perfectly after I grabbed another one. These bulbs are considered to be mediocre at best in terms of quality. If I had to return broken parts and go through the hassle of having to pay full retail for bulbs, I may just do that.
As I sit here searching for T5 bulbs for my under cabinet lights again, I try to remind myself that these things don't last. Almost feels like I went through this process just a few months back. I forgot to do that. I only became aware of this after going through my purchase history. I purchased this exact set twice. Once in September 2018 and a second time in August As of April of 2020, they are dying off again. Despite talking about '20000 hours', there are only 8760 hours in a calendar year, so these aren't even close to what they claim, and even if they had been on 100% the time, I urge you to avoid them. There is no lasting effect from these. PS. You can expect the box to arrive crushed if you order them. Each time, the same thing happened.
I like the fact that these bulbs are very well built, with high quality parts and attention to detail (unlike the ones In addition to its thoughtful packaging, it is well protected. I think this is one of the nicer "made in China" products I've ever I was very pleased with the price. The only bulb I can get at my local hardware store for about the same price as this six-pack is even more surprising The only color available is cool white (fortunately, they only carry that). My only experience has been with three of the six bulbs. When I tried them, they lit up immediately and their brightness was consistent. A warm orange color is shown by the light (3000k). A yellow color. Even though this is almost too warm to wear, it is still much better than the ghastly light (hospital) white I used to have. I've got some news for you on It just happened that one of the bulbs stopped working without apparent cause. There were only about eight periods of time when it was on for about an hour each. Since this brand is not very reliable, I will stick with Name-Brand In the future, we'll talk about brands.
Even though the packages told them otherwise, they all lasted a short time. Some were even gone after a short time. I had to return a few of these bulbs to the store after a short period of time. They had the worst reliability record of any product I have ever purchased. There is a reputation for cheap products in China. A consumer is unlikely to consider something a bargain when she has to replace defective items by the truckload. When did quality control go away? Made in China was a label on this product that meant garbage produced in large quantities. Shame on you!.
Those dice don't belong in your hands! You shouldn't waste your time on this junk brand. 6 pieces arrived today, and not ONE of them worked. Yes, I'll get my money back, but nobody is going to pay me for my time tomorrow, when I spend a half hour walking to the return locker. I do not recommend you buy these.
Six of the six tubes were broken at the place where they connect with the metal ends. It is certain that the problem was in China where the boxes are made because the boxes were in excellent condition. Although the leaking mercury vapor results in poisoning, the idiots at Amazon want me to return my items. A brief update When I Googled "contact Amazon customer service", I was able to connect with a person on chat who provided a refund over 30 minutes later without having to ship back the bulbs. There was no point to the automated process.
In a nutshell, The bulbs in my existing fixtures were burning out, so I needed some new The reason why I choose this 6 pack is because, yes, it is inexpensive. There is a color temperature of 6500K listed. The lamp is more of a daytime lamp, so your aquarium fish will likely look dull and unflattering if you use it with your aquarium. Honestly, this is no fault of the bulb. I was expecting a whiter version of the 6500k spectrum since this one seemed rather dull. You will hear a rattling noise when you shake the light bulb, but it appears to function perfectly well otherwise.
