A shipment of 10 pouches arrived with me. The package came in a plastic bag, not a box. It came in ten pouches rather than a box.
If you want, you can do so. It's okay to use it in the tub with clothes on, just don't use it with your clothes on. You can also just dump it into the tub if your washing machine does not have a cleaning cycle. The washer will clean nicely, and it will smell fresh as well. Keep the gasket clean at regular intervals. My next purchase will be from this material.
I do not like the smell of Fresh in my front loader since it cakes up. I think these pouches are far better than Affresh, and they tend to be considerably cheaper!
Having heard varying opinions, I called the General Electric company to inquire about whether I should use Fabric softener or vinegar in my washer. Every month since my family purchased a high performance washer, I wash our clothes in the machine according to the manufacturer's recommendation. As far as leaving the tub sparkling clean and fresh, I have found the tide to be the best. I did not experience any problem with the lingering smell of the product either. Tide is my favorite washing product, and I only use other products. Moderate cleaning results are obtained by the washer cleaner. There is, however, a powerful scent.
