While Gleener Fuzz Removers are highly effective in removing fuzz from most garments and upholstery, these products should not be used on fabrics with embroidery, intentionally loose weaves, or deliberate textures. It would be harder to tell if it would work on your sweater without seeing it first, so I would recommend that before you gleen, you test your edge in a non-smooth garment first. It took a little bit of work, but the result was excellent. I only used adapter number 1. It worked like a charm with 1 and 2. I also found the shipping to be super fast.

There are a lot out there that I never heard of until I listened to the Ask a Clean Person podcast by Jolie Kerr (very funny I believe she was not lying when she said that these had a profound effect on her. Even though you have to exercise a little muscle to shave your clothing, it's amazing. There is, however, really nothing special about the "blade" edge on these it's just drywall sanding screen material that's available at big box hardware stores in bulk. I can confirm, at least in my little corner of the world, that this is THE fabric pill and lint remover! My order of one was sparked after more than one person recommended it to me. The shirt has only been in my possession a few days, so I cannot comment on its durability yet, but I've tried it on half a dozen tops and I'm very impressed with how well it holds up. A thin, cotton blend tank top that has been washed too many times caused small, hard pills to form on the surface. The solution was very effective in removing the pills. As a result, a fleece Arcteryx jacket that had developed a number of soft, larger pills was effectively removed. Using it to remove fuzz bunnies heavily infused in an old pair of wool blend ski socks, it was ineffective in removing large pills of mystery fuzz bunnies. There were exceptions, however, such as the long, white sections of bichon fries hairs and pieces of down feathers that had "somehow" been trapped in another arcteryx fleece - these pieces were non-removable.
