Questions & Answers

What is the amount of product that you use per load?

Sandy,br>I'm on my 41st flight. oz. The instructions are located between the two layers of the back label on the bottle. It's a pain to separate the layers, but once you do, it'll tell you to line one with TWO capfuls for the top. two capfuls for front-loading washers or two capfuls for front-loading washers washers are being loaded The "lines" on the inside of the cap are the tops of the vertical bars. Three vertical bars that end near the rim indicate line one. THREE vertical bars, well below the rim, indicate line two. Line 1 (higher line) requires about 2/3 cup (5. 33 fluid ounces). It takes about 3 fills to fill line 2 (lower line) with two fills. 5 fl oz. It says to put it through the rinse cycle, which should last at least 16 minutes. If you have that type of fabric softener dispenser, be cautious about adding the second capful because the dispenser may not hold enough (you can try removing the dispenser tray and dumping out excess water before adding any products for the load if you have that type of dispenser). br>I hope this information has been useful to you.
Alan.

Do you mix it with fabric softener or just don't use fabric softener if you're supposed to put it in the fabric softener compartment?

There is no detergent in the fabric softener compartment. the load. This is responsible for sanitizing your clothes and washing machine. So, after sanitizing the clothes and the load that required it, I wash them. I don't wash the sanitizer clothes, preferring to do a regular load with detergent and fabric softener instead. It functions flawlessly, but I did not purchase it from Amazon. It was purchased for me by my husband in a Target store. Many people appear to have purchased fakes.

What are the ingredients in this dish?

If you go to the Amazon product page. The front image on com can be scrolled over. On the lower left side, under scent, are the ingredients.

Is it stated on the bottle whether or not it kills Candida albicans?

Candida is a yeast that thrives in the absence of bacteria. Anti- Yeast, which is a fungus, is not killed by bacterial sanitizers. I hope this has been of assistance.

Works! It's worth a shot in the pre- soak
5/5

I read the reviews after I had placed my order. And I was terrified. I sincerely hoped I hadn't squandered my funds. Nonetheless. br>br> I purchased the item and put it to use. I put it in the washer with the detergent at the start of the cycle with a pre-soak. I chose the soak setting because some other reviewers complained that their HE machine's rinse cycles were not long enough for this product, and I figured it would also reduce the likelihood of the product irritating our skin (since it would have more opportunities to be rinsed out by being added at the beginning of the wash rather than at the end). br>br>The proof is in the results. My son's work clothes are once again smelling nice and fresh. My towels are also brand new, with vibrant colors that haven't been ruined by bleach, and they are SOFT.

If you're prone to rashes that burn, itch, and fester, this is the treatment for you
3/5

I'll never forget the day I bought this product; it's been a nightmare. Let us begin at the beginning: br>br> I was ecstatic to try this product because we have several dogs and my fiance works in a very dirty environment. We bought this and followed the instructions because I'm a clean freak who is always spraying Lysol or wiping something down with a Clorox wipe. I use the term "used" to mean the following: This was added in (again, as per the instructions). It's conveniently located near the "do not get directly on clothing" warnings. WHUT? ) to our entire bedding set, including pillows (whole pillows). Clothing. Dog beds. Mats for the bathroom. Towels, rags, and hand towels are all items that can be found in the bathroom. EVERYTHING, in fact. Both my fiance and I broke out in hives and ravaging red, itchy bumps almost immediately after sleeping in our bed, wearing the clothes, drying off with the towels, and so on. Some of the pimples are small and inconspicuous. Bug bites and a bright red pin rash that appeared to be turning into welts all over our bodies (backs, lower backs, stomach, arms, chest, especially horrible and unbearably itchy underneath my chest as I had washed my bras in a load alone and added this in). A MASSIVE MISTAKE). We don't have sensitive skin (we both use heavily scented soaps and perfumes/colognes, lotions with colors and such), no allergies, and we have four dogs. We've lived in the country our entire lives, surrounded by trees, plants, and various allergens, and we've never had any problems until now. We assumed it was poison oak, poison ivy, or something else related to yard work - but it wasn't. Nope! This "sanitizer" was the source of the problem. We couldn't figure out why the burning and itching seemed to be more intense at night. *Lightbulb* Because we were snuggled up in our bed sheets, blankets, and pillows, which were all coated with this additive, it seemed like any time we sweated even a little (which you do when you sleep), it became unbearable. I've been laying in this chemical for a while now. Yuck. Ouch. br>br>To cut a long story short, we've both been on Prednisone and Eczema/Psoriasis topical soaps and lotions for two weeks and have lost countless hours of sleep due to the itching, burning, and pain that has kept us awake at night. Not to mention the fact that we had to replace all of our pillows as well as rewash everything. It's just awful. br>br>I'm seeing a lot of good feedback, which is fantastic! The negative feedback, on the other hand, is uniform: "Itching; Burning; Welts; Hives". I guess we're a member of that group! br>br>I'm not a naturalist by any means, and I'm not opposed to products with artificial colors and scents, etc. , but this product is toxic from the scent to the color, and I would not recommend it to anyone. I really wanted to like it, but it's not worth the effort. Unless, of course, you want your skin to fester and burn for weeks while you sleepless from scratching. I look like a character from The Walking Dead, and I would have given this a negative rating if I could.

This stuff stinks like a rotting corpse
3/5

I do not recommend purchasing this item if you are allergic to smells or fragrances. I wasn't expecting the scent of "crisp linen" to be so strong, but it is. There is a distinct odor left behind. I prefer detergents that don't contain any dyes. I'm not a huge fan of perfumes, but I was intrigued by this new product because of its antibacterial properties. In the near future, Lysol should release an unscented version.

This is significant because she has extremely sensitive skin and must use expensive bamboo/organic diapers
5/5

LYSOL, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU I use it because I have a paraplegic miniature dachshund who gets UTIs frequently if I am not careful with her bathroom routine and surroundings. She wears diapers and has several antibacterial/antimicrobial blankets as well as a crib (I know, she's spoiled), but her condition makes her extremely susceptible to infection. THIS PRODUCT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE! I use it with sensitive skin detergent when washing her blankets, crib bedding, and toys, and she's had no problems since! This is significant because she has extremely sensitive skin and requires the use of high-end bamboo diapers, organic baby wipes, and the like. I now recommend this to all of my friends who have children, along with the use of an organic toy disinfectant spray!.

Works on stinky hockey equipment It's perfect in every way
5/5

I bought this out of desperation to deal with my husband's obnoxious hockey gear, and guess what? It works like a charm. Simply place this in the fabric softener section of the washer, and voila, your clothes will come out smelling magically fresh. And not in the flowery, overly chemical sense of "fresh": It has a nice neutral scent to it. br>br>HE machines have the drawback that they can get stinky even if you try your hardest to keep them clean all the time, keep the doors and such open, and drain the bottom all the time. br>br>There are no hints of floral or mountains or bathroom product or whatever, just what I imagine clean to smell like. br>br>HE machines have the drawback that they can get stinky even if you try your hardest to keep them clean all the time, keep I use a small amount of this Lysol Laundry Sanitizer Additive with each wash to keep it smelling like new. More stinky loads are on the way. br>br>I'm not usually one for commercial cleaning gimmicks; I prefer vinegar, baking soda, or borax, and if I use the dryer, I use wool dryer balls, but this "Laundry Sanitizer" stuff is definitely a keeper. I'm so glad I found it; it's made such a difference in my life. It works great with my hard water, and I'm sure it would be even better if you had sulfur-smelling water. br>br>It's pricey, and it appears to be very light in the bottle, but IT WORKS FOR ME. And, even with all of the vinegar, baking soda, and multiple washings, this stuff outperforms everything else and saves time and money. You'll be hooked if you give it a try.

This item must be handled with care

This item was returned to me. There's a sticker on the back that says "may cause permanent eye damage!" hidden beneath another one that says "may cause permanent eye damage!".

Not at all practical! I was very interested in learning more about this product, but I was disappointed to find out that it is not easy to use
3/5

br>According to the directions, it should be placed in the softener dispenser. That's fine, but it must soak for 15 minutes during the rinse cycle. br>I can't program my washer to do that, and I'm not going to babysit what's known as an automatic washing machine. br>We'll use it up, but we won't buy another one.
