Questions & Answers

Is this a specific brand of box detergent, or is it a genuine additive?

Definitely not dishwashing liquid. You can add it to your wash cycle or use it to pre-soak your clothes. articles soiled by work

Is this product subjected to animal testing? Is animal testing done by the parent company?

No, we do not want products that have been subjected to animal testing. And for those of you who have made comments in class about this topic. It's very sad that you believe that innocent animals should be tortured to death in order for these evil American corporations to sell you hideous poisonous products that are harmful to your and our health. It's pretty pitiful.

Is it safe to clean a carpet that runs the length of the room?

Before cleaning your carpet, put one scoop in a 16 oz spray bottle and spray on stains and extra dirty areas. Pretreatment was fantastic! On my computer, it worked perfectly.

My scoop was shattered to bits when I received my box of Oxyclean. I don't have a scoop because this is the first box I've ever bought. I need your assistance. ?

I have a small jar for my laundry bag (to take to my building's laundry room) and a large box for refilling. Scoop sizes range from small to large. This is how it works: br>A small scoop has one fill line halfway up that equals zero. 7 oz, plus 1 oz to the top of the cup. 4 oz (approximately 3 tbsp / 1. 5 oz. The full line is difficult to see, so I believe they do this on purpose to encourage customers to use double because I was filling to the brim for a long time before noticing the fill line. 3 scoops for wash (I'm assuming to the actual fill line, because the top is actually 2 scoops): 1 for regular loads, and more for heavier or dirtier loads. HE requires 2 scoops. For soaking tough stains on clothes, use 4 scoops per gallon. br>A large scoop holds 4 oz (1/2 cup) and has four fill lines (each line holds 2 tbsp / 1 oz / 1/8 cup). Fill to line 1 according to the instructions. 3 for the washing machine: 1 for regular loads, and more for heavier or dirtier loads. HE: Line 1 should be filled in. Fill in the blanks on line 2 4 gallons of water for soaking tough stains on clothing br>Now, just to see how the small scoop compares, it says 1- Each load requires three scoops (0. 7 oz - 1 oz.) and line 1- on the large scoop. 3 per load (1 oz - 1 oz - 1 oz - 1 oz 3 oz), so there's a little bit of a difference with these dang scoops, but it's close enough. If you don't have a scoop, measure in full oz increments with a baking measuring spoon or cup if you don't have one. But, hey, you boo, you do what you gotta do.

Cleaning brickwork is a breeze with this product
5/5

I used it to clean a brick patio and it worked great! I diluted 8 scoops in 2 gallons warm water, poured the solution over the brickwork, let it sit for 10 minutes, then scrubbed stubborn areas with a stiff brush and a scrubbing brush.

When used as a "regular detergent," it removes the colors from colored clothing
3/5

This is a stain remover, according to the label. It's probably effective at removing stains. But I assumed it was detergent, and I was perplexed as to why, whenever I used this soap on colored clothing, the colors came out a shade lighter. br>Then I read the directions, which stated that I should let the soap dissolve in the water before adding the clothes. br>As a result, I began to do so. Even so, the clothes are a shade lighter. I use the amount on the cup for one load or even less (I use the same amount for small, medium, and large loads - see below). It makes no difference if you're a man or a woman. My clothes have faded due to the soap). br>While this soap is suitable for whites and stained areas, it should not be used on colored fabrics. It's possible that your brightly colored garments are in danger.

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
5/5

Because of the cheesy infomercials, I put off purchasing this product for years. Is it possible that it'll be that good? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah I had some really bad deodorant stains on my shirts and dresses, so I caved and tried it. This product is nothing short of a miracle, and it far surpassed my expectations! OxiClean and its many wonders took up my entire weekend. I began by soaking three shirts, two dresses, and five sweaters in 1 gallon of water. Everything turned out beautifully, so I made another batch before moving on to my kitchen grout. Once that was done, I went around my house like a crazy person looking for more messes to clean up. My rugs are now immaculate, and my shower curtains and liners are lovely. This was the most effective cleaning item I've ever purchased. I only regret not doing it sooner.

OxiClean is by far the safest and most effective whitening agent I've come across! I consider myself lucky to have discovered the "powers" of OxiClean products in the late 1980s
5/5

It was advertised on a TV infomercial, and the promises of what it could do for carpets enticed me in. The outcomes of this day have me hooked. I remember the first time I tried it, believe it or not. I dashed upstairs, startling my husband awake. We'd tried almost every carpet cleaner on the market, but none of them worked. Cleaning stains in the carpet that had been there since we bought the house a year before was incredible. It can be used on clothes as well as in the laundry. br> Bleach WAS my go-to on whites before, but it reduced their life expectancy and caused them to yellow over time, and I'd never been satisfied with any stain-removing product for my colors until I discovered OxiClean. I haven't needed to try anything else in nearly 30 years. Using OxiClean with High Efficiency Washing Machines (which I dislike - Okay, I despise them) can be a little tricky because water is required to activate the Oxi and, as we all know, water is scarce. These machines don't use any water at all - lol! OxiClean's opinion hasn't changed, but STAR's and the designers of the so-called Washers have.

Hey, look, I've got a blue carpet! This was purchased to go in my carpet steamer (along with another clear)
5/5

It has a pleasant odor and performs admirably. It's something I wouldn't change for anything. It was able to remove even the toughest stains from my carpet. I've included before and after pictures. After only one sweep of the carpet, I had arrived at this conclusion. In a day or two, I intend to clean the carpet once more. br>br>Keep this in mind: My home is old, and the carpet is older than I am. The outcomes have left me very impressed.

Bright pink stains are easily removed with this product
5/5

This stuff is MAGIC in its purest form. Look no further if you're looking for a way to remove the toughest stains. When I was doing laundry, I forgot to take out my bright pink lipstick. The end result was a colossal failure. All of my clothes had bright pink stains on them. My husband was furious because his favorite pair of jeans had been ruined, haha. I decided to buy this after doing some research. I remained skeptical and doubtful that it would succeed. Before putting my messed-up clothes in, I poured 4 cups of OxiClean into a bucket of warm water. I left it there for 36 hours, and when I removed the clothes, they were as good as new! There were still a few minor stains (due to the fact that I tossed a bunch of clothes in the bucket at the same time), so I rubbed the stain a few times and the stains vanished. This product is incredible and well worth the money. Instead of having to replace $100 worth of clothing, I spent $15 on this and it removed even the toughest stains.

Stain and odor remover with a pleasant scent that can also be used in the kitchen
5/5

This stain remover is one of my favorites to use in the laundry. Because it isn't a bleach, it can be used in any load, but I prefer to use it in odor-prone loads, such as wet towels that have sat in the hamper or in the boys' bathroom. Also, without using a strong-smelling flower fabric softener, the boys' fishing clothes, gym workout gear, and socks come out smelling so fresh. br>I start by putting the load and soap in like any other load of laundry, and then pour a cup of this powder on top of the clothes. It works great! br>I've also used this to clean the light fixtures above my stove. They had been there for years and were caked with grease from cooking, frying, and other activities. I removed the covers and soaked them in a sink of water for a few hours. It had an effect. I was able to clean these because the grease had loosened. Since then, I've used it with warm water to jumpstart the cleaning process on any difficult-to-clean items.

This stuff is great because it can be used for so many different things
5/5

This is exactly what I'm looking for! It can be used for a variety of cleaning tasks in addition to the obvious. laundry. Despite the fact that I do use it for that! Last week, I scrubbed down my outdoor composite deck using Oxi Clean mixed with water. I mopped it up on the deck before pressure washing it. The moss, dirt, and other gunk that had accumulated over the previous ten years was easily removed. It's also something I like to use in my carpet cleaner. I'm guessing it's not really recommended by your carpet cleaner manufacturer because they want you to buy their expensive liquid carpet cleaner, but I just make my own concoction with Oxi Clean and have never had any problems with my machine and my carpet is always spotless. ***Hello! br>br> Thank you for your interest in reading my review. ] When I write a review, I try to point out all of a product's features and benefits, as well as any flaws or negatives, because I rely on other people's reviews when making an online purchase, so I try to point out all of the product's features and benefits, as well as any flaws or negatives.
