Although all soap is technically "antibacterial," if you're wondering if it contains harmful chemicals that make it a sterilizing agent, the answer is no; however, why would you want or need that for your dishes? Antibacterial soaps have the ability to produce antibiotic-resistant bacteria. bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics Because of the potential health risks associated with triclosan and other strains, the FDA is requiring manufacturers to prove their products' efficacy. You don't want or need antibacterial anything unless you're in a hospital and need it for sterilization, in which case it should be used sparingly. I can attest to the excellent quality of this product; I've been using Myers products in my home for years and couldn't be happier with my conscious decisions to protect not only my family, but also the planet and our wildlife from harmful chemical additives; you have to remember that stuff goes somewhere when it's flushed down the drain; I don't know about you, but I don't want that stuff in my water table.
I recently ordered and received this product as well; the honeysuckle scent is subtle but noticeable. The product has a strong soapy scent to it, which I enjoy.

It has a scent that reminds me of honeysuckle that I've purchased in stores. The odor has a chemical component to it. I finally went to Target and purchased a bottle to compare, and they are not the same.
We'd used up all of our Costco-purchased items. I had already purchased dishwashing liquid, so I asked Alexa to place an order for us. It works EXACTLY like the Costco brands, with three key differences: (1) To clean our countertops, we keep a small spray bottle filled with 2/3 liquid detergent and 1/3 water. Mrs. Meyers hasn't developed a film or clogged the spray bottle yet (one month). The Costco brands always developed a film that clogged the bottles over time. (2) When I'm cooking or baking, I wash my hands with the dish soap we keep on the kitchen counter. This means that I use it on a daily basis. My hands are completely dry after using Costco products - In the winter, especially. Mrs. Meyers appears to be kinder than Mr. Meyers. My hands aren't as dry as they used to be with other brands. (3) I was worried that Mrs. Meyers wouldn't degrease as well as the "big brands. " My assumptions were incorrect. Mrs. Meyers works just as well when it comes to removing grease. I haven't noticed any decrease in dishwashing efficiency. br>And yes, the aroma is fantastic - It has a natural, fresh scent that isn't overpowering.
I was able to get rid of my hand rash. I have terrible allergies and very small hands, to the point where I have to bring my own soap to work because the one in the restrooms irritates my skin. Dishwashing would be a dangerous combination because I'd have to use surgical gloves because dishwashing gloves never fit. I do a lot of dishwashing and have had a rash on my palms for years that made my skin crack and bleed; my doctor called it "housewives' hands. " HOWEVER, I started using this soap and the rash went away for no apparent reason. For the first time in years, my palms are completely dry, as a result of using other detergents. For hand soap, we began to use the same brand. It is something I strongly suggest. There's a scent to it, but it's not overpowering.
Meyer's products to you. Every item I've ever used has been the best I've ever encountered. This stuff slashes through grease like a ninja sword through a bad guy at 2 a. m. ! I've never seen anything that you can spray on old burnt grease and wipe right off WITHOUT HEATING IT UP! This is what I'm saying. Wow, the laundry soap, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, I washed a small load of clothes with my old detergent brand and then with Mrs. Meyer's laundry soap, and you wouldn't believe how much dirt was left behind from the old soap! I couldn't believe what I was seeing! Anything made by Mrs. Meyer's is a miracle encapsulated in a tiny bottle! What's more, the best part is that it's completely free of charge. THE INGREDIENTS THAT ARE NATURAL! This is the best cleaning product I've ever used, and I'll never buy another product from any other company again.
While the product is functional, the scent is overpowering to the point of nausea. I contacted Mrs. Meyers to ask if they would provide customer support and after several emails, all they were willing to do was give me 10 off my next order. Clearly, there isn't much of a desire to satisfy customers. I'll contact Amazon directly, but I'm not sure if they'll accept the unopened bottles. And, since I'm currently "sheltering in place," I'm not sure how I'd get them back to Amazon.
Cleans well, has good suds, is easy to rinse, and can also be used as a hand soap. It has a wonderful odor. Cleans effectively, with good suds that aren't too strong. sudsy, easy to rinse, pleasant odor, and low environmental impact ingredients that are beneficial to the environment We use it to fill hand soap dispensers in the bathroom in addition to using it as a dish soap, and it works perfectly. And, once again, it isn't excessive. When used as a hand soap, it suds and rinses easily, just like dishwashing liquid. It also works well for clothing that can be washed by hand. using soap and a hose to clean area rugs as well as a variety of other cleaning chores around the house For the multi-use item, Amazon has a reasonable price. packs. Honeysuckle and lemon verbena are two of my favorite scents.
Mrs. Meyers' dishwashing scent is my absolute favorite! It has the scent of joy in a bottle. When I use it, it brings a grin to my face. I've tried this scent in laundry soap and dryer sheets, but it's not the same. In those products, I prefer geranium.
This dish soap has such a strong scent that it leaves dishes and silverware smelling and tasting like soap (as well as making food smell and taste like soap). I rinsed, scrubbed with a brush, rinsed again, and even soaked dishes in baking soda water. To remove the honeysuckle soap smell and taste from the dishes, I had to wash them again in another dish soap, soak them in more baking soda, and then wash and rinse them AGAIN. No matter how concentrated, I've never used a dish soap that didn't leave a soapy odor or taste on the dishes. I will not be placing another order. I'd give 0 stars if I had the option. It's downright revolting.
