Unless you think it's cruel to use lemon juice in its preparation, I'd say it's "cruelty-free." free. " Do you ask yourself this question before buying any product or service?
Yes, two 24-ounce containers are included. You are correct; it is still less expensive than what I can get locally if I can locate it.
I placed it in the detergent receptacle and the pod in the dishwasher's bottom. I also use Lemi Shine as a rinse aid, and it's fantastic!
In hard water, Lemi Shine is a dream come true. Hard water, on the other hand, usually leaves a cloudy film on your glasses. Brownish tint is a mystery to me. However, I recommend that you try a few and see what you think. I'd first get the Lemi Shine machine cleaner, so you'd know it wasn't a problem with the machine. Then immediately proceed to the additive. If you have hard water, you will be astounded by the difference, and each load will make your glassware clearer and sparklier. AND there are no harsh chemicals used; lemon crystals are used instead. Joyce

This is a photo of a dishwasher that is six years old. I wish I had a before photo to show how much LemiShine has improved my appearance! We've been using it since November 18th, after the appliance repairman recommended it. Previously, the inside of the machine was covered in crusty white residue, and everything had to be double-checked after each wash! With each load, we now use LemiShine, and the results are fantastic! China, glassware, flatware, and pots and pans are just a few of the items available. Everything is clean and streak-free, including stainless steel! This is an excellent item.
Because of our extremely hard well water, I knew Lemi Shine would help with mineral deposits on dishes in the dishwasher. I let us run out of this by accident, and I was quickly reminded of how important it is. I switched to hand-washing dishes after one load until my Lemi Shine order arrived. If I could buy it in bulk, preferably in a cardboard container with a plastic bag liner, I'd give it five stars. I despise having to recycle so many plastic containers.
I was about to discard some cloudy-looking glass bowls. My sister recommended Lemi Shine, and it worked wonders for my bowls and glassware. Pit corrosion (tiny rust marks) was also present on a few of my steak knives. That's also taken care of by Lemi Shine! *NOTE* - You don't need to use as much as the instructions suggest. (Perhaps if the water is extremely hard. ) ) I use well water, and I use Lemi Shine in the small prewash cup and detergent in the large cup. It's fantastic!.
In San Antonio, the water is extremely hard, and my house isn't set up to use a water softener effectively. I had resolved to watch my glassware and china become cloudy and essentially ruined, as well as my dishwasher being harmed by calcium carbonate buildup on the heating coil and other areas. This product was recommended by a friend, and after a month of use, the carbonate buildup on the dishwasher heating coil was gone. Unfortunately, the majority of my glassware was shattered, but the new glassware is CRYSTAL clear. It's a product that really works in hard water when used as directed.
We replaced tubing, cleaned the machine thoroughly, and used every cleaner and chemical we could think of to get rid of the odor and clean our dishes, but nothing worked! Not to mention that all of my plastic ware was covered in a white residue (we have hard water in our house). I bought this thinking it would be my last chance before I had to buy a new dishwasher, and hallelujah, it works! It got rid of the odor as well as all of the white residue on my dishes. My dishwasher appears to be in excellent working condition. Because I had so much gunk build up throughout the dishwasher when I first started using this stuff, chunks of nasty would get washed up onto some of the silverware during the "transition" period. I highly recommend this product and will be repurchasing it for use in my dishwasher on a regular basis.
It does a fantastic job of removing the hazy cloud left by hard water on our dishes, especially the glassware. Still experimenting with the most efficient use of resources, but it appears that less is more. The best setup so far appears to be 1/2 tablespoon in the Cascade Pod with the rinse aid turned off or on the lowest setting if your dishwasher allows it. We also decided on Cascade Platinum and Lemi Shine Rise over regular Cascade and JetDry during the process of figuring out what works best. Good luck with getting through the haze!.
We used treated well water and washed the plate on top with dish detergent and lemi shine, while the plate on the bottom was only washed with dish detergent. After we ran out of this product, I went ahead and ordered the largest amount on here instead of buying it at the grocery store (options were limited because it had to be septic tank safe for us). It worked so well that I went ahead and ordered the largest amount on here instead.
I put some in the section where the soap should go, then nestle the soap pod in it and close the small door. Initially, I attempted to place the soap pod in the bottom of the dishwasher as directed, but our dishes came out sparkling but with some food bits still attached. The method of using a Lemi Shine soap pod in a soap spot works extremely well. br>br>Lemi Shine is also said to be able to remove hard water stains from your dishwasher. I can't speak to that because I used white vinegar. Follow up with: br>br> I've also used it to descale my stainless steel electric kettle (a little powder, filled with water, set to boil, then let cool), and it worked great.
