Questions & Answers

I recently purchased this product, which came with a different logo (it says BabyGanics instead of the cute robot) and a clear bottle. Is it genuine?

I'm returning mine, but I did receive a small bottle that looked exactly like the one in the picture as part of a set of babyganics for my baby shower. I just received the product, and it does not resemble it in any way. Is it safe to assume this is a genuine Babyganics product rather than a knockoff?

Do I need to buy a separate pump bottle or can I just use the watered-down version?

Yes, I believe so.

Is it possible to use this to wash your hands, i.e. Is it effective at killing bacteria and viruses?

You have the option to do so, but you should not. It's what we use to clean whatever dirty things other cleaners can't.

Is it diluted in any way? We purchased a bottle of Babyganics soap from a retail store before our babies were born
3/5

We bought some Babyganics soap from the store, and it was fantastic. I had a cleaning routine down to a science: one pump of soap in a baby bottle, a small amount of water, and voila - clean. It foamed up and cleaned like nothing I'd ever seen before when I used my bottle scrubby wand! My wife ordered this two-bottle refill from Amazon after we were almost out of the first bottle. It was a night and day difference from the store bought product from the first day using the first refill bottle; to be clear, this was a two pack and the first bottle was absolutely garbage for the reasons explained further in the post, while the second bottle was fine and performed as expected. Here are the problems we had with the first bottle in the pack: To be honest, I don't know how there could be that much difference in the products unless the Amazon product was watered down in some way. I found that even using 6, 7, even 8 pumps of the Amazon bought product in one bottle, it still didn't come close to the 1 pump of the store bought product. It doesn't foam up at all. I won't go so far as to say the Amazon product is a knockoff. The end result is that my bottles are still clean even though I'm using a ton more soap in every cleaning, but there is a huge noticeable difference between the store bought vs Amazon bought product. br>br>That being said, the second bottle in the pack cleaned and foamed as expected (as it should), so I'm torn about whether we'll reorder this product again based on how poor the first bottle was.

I've been using this product since our son was a newborn, so be wary of any changes
3/5

He has now reached the age of eleven months. We got this as a baby shower gift and have since started using other babyganics products. However, this order is not the same as the one I previously placed on Amazon for this 2 pack. The liquid in the two large bottles appears to be the same as the product, but it is highly diluted and squirts out like water. When used, it produces a light foam, but it is clear that the product has been altered and watered down.

Diluted to a great extent
3/5

This refills are a waste of money. For my baby's milk bottles, we used bottle soap with a pump. They did an excellent job. As a result, rather than purchasing a bottle with a pump set, we decided to use refills. The refill bottles have a lot of water in them. I should've looked at the other reviews first. I'd give it a 0 if I had the option. After we refill the bottle, even though I followed the directions exactly, it's over in a flash. Its consistency is similar to that of water. This product does not meet my expectations.

The lids on the containers leak
3/5

This soap is one of my favorites, and I was looking for something that was TSA-friendly. I'm obedient because I'm on a multi-tasking mission. I'm going on a day trip for work and need to clean all of my pump components. It would be fine if the lids screwed on, but they don't, so I have to keep the soap in its own ziploc bag, which is always soapy on the inside by the time I get where I'm going (or get home), even if the lids are still on. br>In addition, the bottles are a little too large. They are advertised as "great for the diaper bag" on the label, but this is a fallacy. Unless you want your diaper bag to be bursting at the seams with soap. It isn't a suitable travel companion.

We have a newborn with a sensitive stomach at our house, so we make sure the bottles are thoroughly cleaned and then sanitized
5/5

We've tried a variety of bottle soaps and found Babyganics to be the most effective. We don't get the filmy layer inside the bottles that we get with other baby bottle soaps after we've finished washing them. With just half a pump of soap, they produce a nice foamy lather. We used to use Medela bottle cleaner before switching to Babyganics Bottle Soap and will continue to do so in the future. Purchasing refills rather than individual or three-pack soap dispensers gives you the most bang for your buck. With this, we also used an empty foam dispenser bottle from Bath and Body Works as one of the soap dispensers, which worked perfectly!.

The necessity of a diaper bag
5/5

These are one of the most useful items I bought for traveling with a child! I keep one in my diaper bag, one in my husband's diaper backpack, and the other in my mother's purse, who looks after my son two days a week. They're small, so they don't take up much space, and it's so convenient to be able to put one pump in a bottle and clean both the bottle and the nipple after your baby has eaten. Previously, we would bring three people. When we travel, we used to bring four bottles with us and then have to clean them all when we got home. Now, we only bring one bottle and clean it in the bathroom sink when we're out and about!.

I'll never buy it again because it has an odd odor

This product caused me two problems: first, the scent- The complimentary liquid was packaged in a very plastic-like container. y scent! I have previously purchased fragrance-free soap refills. It was either throw it out and waste my money (the return period had already passed by the time I opened the first bottle), or I could mask the odor with my own vegetable glycerin and essential oil. To get rid of the odor, I needed a lot more essential oil than I anticipated. I was extremely disappointed. I'll contact the firm to see what they can do. br>br>Another issue was a blunder on my part: The word "foaming" was not mentioned in the description, which I missed. But this is almost entirely water with a smidgeon of soap thrown in - This is something I'm aware of because when I buy full-priced items, I don't have to worry about I use a 4:1 ratio when making 'heavier' liquid soap. 1 (water distilled: liq soap is a type of liquid soap that comes in a variety of colors and To make my own foaming liquid, I mixed 400mL distilled water with 100mL liquid soap in a reusable container. As a result, from a cost-effectiveness standpoint, this was a terrible decision.
