The instructions can be found on the container. I always use a little less than the recommended amount and have had good results.
Yes, a larger container is available; I believe 32 oz is the largest, but I'm not sure. The 32-ounce container is what I purchase.
To brighten the cloths, I combine it with Oxy Clean. It performs admirably.

In any of my old dishwashers, I've never needed it. ) After a wash cycle, the glass and metals would be damp, and the plastics would be soaking wet. When I read the list of ingredients in conventional rinseaids, I knew there was no way I was going to use them! As a result, I looked for a more natural option and came across this one. It's fantastic! All of my dishes (including plastic) are dry when they come out of the dishwasher. This product comes highly recommended from me.
It's a great product that doesn't have any scent. It doesn't have the horrible fake lemon, orange, or whatever scent some of these rinse aid manufacturers use. Please, Seventh Generation, don't change anything; it's perfect the way it is.
If you're buying this, chances are you're like us and use phophate-free products. As a tradeoff for a clearer conscience and a healthier body, use free or other "healthy" dishwasher detergents and accept occasional food crumbs and hazing dishes. We've switched to more clear glasswares in the last six months and have noticed an increase in spotting. We live in Houston, so we have water that is considered to be on the harder side of the scale, so we are aware that we will have some of it. br>br>In the past, we would use JetDry and other rinse aids. I'm not going to lie to you - I'm a bit of a jerk. After the drying cycle, they did an excellent job of keeping our glasses and polished silverware clean. However, we couldn't stand the stench and flavor that leached onto our food from time to time. So we went months without one until I discovered Seventh Generation Rinse Aid last week. br>br>Based on about 14 cycles, all of our dishes come out a little hazier after drying, with a powder-like residue. y feel. I'd even go so far as to say that there appear to be more food scraps stuck to our plates. We didn't make any major dietary or detergent changes - simply as a rinse aid. br>br>Also, our stainless-steel The haziness and water spots that we didn't see or have before are reflected in the steel tub. br>br>Because of the high ratings from other users, I'm willing to give this product the benefit of the doubt, so I'm curious if: br>(a) the rinse aid helped loosen old grimes from the dishwasher, which is mixing with clean dishes during rinse, orbr>(b) the rinse aid is reacting with the natural detergent and causing this byproduct. br>br>As a result, this is the first product I've purchased from Amazon that I'm giving a "3" and not returning.
This product appeals to me in the following ways:br>br>- It works! I found myself re-rinsing a lot when we were using our previous rinse aid. hand-washing the dishes. br>- It's also good for the environment.
- It has not been subjected to animal testing.
- It has a small spout that makes pouring into the small rinse aid compartment a breeze. It was hit or miss when we used our previous rinse aid. It was just a matter of aiming in the general direction and hoping for the best; it ended up landing all over the place. That alone is reason enough to make the switch. br>br>Previously, we had used Finish.
I tried jet dry first, then switched to 7th gen, then jet dry again, then 7th gen again. I couldn't tell if the food was any better or worse. That'll do it for me! br>br> It's worth mentioning that I recently purchased a new dishwasher that is quite nice. Depending on the machine, I'm sure the results will vary.
Seventh Generation Dishwasher Detergent (Free) was purchased. I bought the 7th Generation Rinse Aid to go with it because it was Septic Safe. So far, everything has gone smoothly, and I have no complaints. I do ensure that any stuck-on foods are rinsed off ahead of time, or that the dishes are placed in the dishwasher and run before the food has a chance to become stuck-on. But I did the same thing when I was using Finish and Cascade.
Simply fill my spout, and if I have a large or heavy load, it will not only fill the hole, but will also squeeze right on the dirty items. Dishes and all come clean, with far fewer rinse spots and water droplets than if you didn't use rinse again; just remember to check the filter every time; you'll probably have to fill it.
My family was looking for a natural rinse aid because our new dishwasher seemed to require one. In comparison to other brands commonly found in the store, it appears to work fine. The good news is that it's all natural, which we always appreciate. Our new Bosch dishwasher can be filled twice with one bottle. About 15-minutes is spent on each fill. There are 20 cycles in total. There is nothing to be unhappy about.
