Questions & Answers

A Miele dishwasher is on my shopping list. If you were to restock the salt dispenser, how frequent would you do that, how frequently do you buy per month or annually?

Despite the fact that I have had our Miele dishwasher for over four years, I am just now ordering its third box of salt, including the one that came with it. We have been using the same boxes for about 25 months each. The program runs every Tuesday and Thursday Our water is not particularly hard, so it's not hard to load it four times a week. It is the best dishwasher I've ever owned, quiet and effective, and

Could you please tell me where to put this salt if I do not have a Miele dishwasher? Thanks. ?

The salt cap must be located on the floor area of your dishwasher (inside the dishwasher). Remove the lower rack from your dishwasher. Seeing your dishwasher's dishwasher will let you know if it has one. The slat can be inserted into the opening of the salt cap by unscrewing it. It will not be possible to add salt to your dishwasher if you do not see the salt cap inside. This feature is not available on all dishwashers.

Does this product come in English and is it for dishwashing machines? The box that arrived had no English on it. ?

in fact salt for the Meile. It is original SALZ, which is also available in English Salt. My Miele dishwasher enjoys it. We measure each bag individually to ensure that it fits into the washer perfectly.

This salt is better than Finish salt, isn't it?

The answer is unknown to me. Also, there is no difference in taste whether I use salt or not.

If you have a Miele dishwasher, you need this
5/5

It is very important that you make good use of your Miele dishwasher's salt dispenser. It is a big difference between the salted and unseasoned A load that has been salted. There was a time when I ran out of salt, but the really filthy dishes didn't make it. I should point out that this Miele dishwasher will make your gravy plate from last week come out pristine. But it does so even better with salt. When running this DW with salt and rinse aid, and Miele dishwasher tabs, it should remove gravy from last year (I suspect- This is what I haven't yet tried). I am amazed especially because I use the recommended products. It is partly designed (three different levels of water jets) and partly my actions. I have decided to follow their recommendations even though the DW costs more than some of my college era used cars. In the past, I had used Cascade packs when I ran out of Miele tabs, but the results were not the same. Miele products and Miele appliances can be bought from Miele. In the future, I intend to have the Miele logo tattooed on my keester. So much of domestic work has become easier thanks to them.

We are having a hard time with our water in Los Angeles! My fixtures have been crusted with mineral deposits since I lived in Los Angeles for years
5/5

I've struggled to clean them for years. Los Angeles is notorious for its hard water. There were two salt water filters I was using, one for the pool and one for the house. However, I soon learned how bad the whole house salt water softener is health wise, so I had them Since I'm sure there will be those who disagree, I will not go into it here, but you can Google it for more information. It's true that Los Angeles hard water minerals can be hard on fixtures and appliances with nondrinking water. In the interior of my two drawer dishwasher (that I thought would be so wonderful but was a complete nightmare), there were white mineral deposits forever. The performance of the dishwasher was suffering the point where we practically had to wash the dishes before loading them. My problem still persisted even when I tried all of the recommended detergents, including the ones that seemed better but still did not fix the issue. Finally, I broke down and bought a 1 door Miele in place of the two drawer model. Miele's collection has proved to be very effective for me. So far, I'm glad I decided to use it at least for the time being. My understanding is that the manual for Miele's care collection recommends using all 3 products, but the recommendation is not to use salt or rinse aid Furthermore, the combination tablets are clearly marked on the package as being part of the collection. Which of the two is it then? Is it okay to use salt and rinse aid with a Miele tab, or not? In the moment, I'm using all the pieces of the The truth is that I've only used them for a few days so I don't know what I am We are interested in finding out We will update in 2020 after a few years. We're very happy with the whole system! Miele's products have been a part of my life since the beginning Combination tablets consisting of salt, rinse aid and combination capsules. In my opinion, the washing machine is a dream washing machine and I wouldn't want to do anything different with it. Therefore I will not fix it if it isn't broken.

The product lives up to its name
5/5

It was my first time using a European dishwasher, and I was initially confused when I attempted to run it for the first time, and it said, "It needs salt. " What does that mean? It seems to be related to the way the dishwasher softens This water softener has an integral build-in. A GE dishwasher does not usually have this feature. Because of this, I am grateful that I was able to locate it here none of my local stores carried it. The granules are huge, each one roughly the size of a pea. This isn't just any salt. Are the salts used in whole house water softeners the same size? It may be, but the type sold there is only 40 lbs. There was no problem here.

This salt is better than Finish dishwasher salt for softening hard water and is only slightly more expensive than Finish
5/5

I use this salt in my Bosch dishwasher that comes with a salt container. This salt is easier to use, cheaper, and provides the same softening effect as Finish dishwashing salt. For those asking about salt in dishwashers, you must have the salt dispenser to enable the water to be softened. Dishwashers are equipped with this feature in almost all cases, and certainly in European ones. It is necessary to program the dishwasher according to the hardness of the water in each area. For Bosch DW, a blood test strip is included to determine the level of hardness of the water. If not, you can buy the test strip at a hardware store and then program the actual hardness level. Even if your water is not very soft, the salt will last for a long time. There is no problem with this container being filled in one go by Bosch. a water softner built into our inlet system. The test strip displayed the lowest level of hardness, so I have not needed to refill the salt. Adding salt and rinse agent is well worth the effort, and the dishes, stemware, and flatware come out sparkling. The previous DW did not produce the same results as our current one. I love the Bosch DW and the Miele DW salt we use with.

You did a great job, thank you
5/5

The water staining in my Miele dishwasher disappeared immediately. In our used Miele dishwasher (CL), the "salt" light has been on for a long time. Aside from that, the way the dishes were cleaned didn't impress me either. In order to fix the lighted "salt" light, I decided to look online for a manual and ordered the salt The dirty dishes are not the only thing I have cleaned, but the cloudy glasses are now clear as well! The whole box of paper towels fits in a holder at the bottom of a dishwasher and lasts for.

When you live in an area that has hard water, this is a huge benefit
4/5

The best way to get this is if you have Amazon Prime and don't have to pay for Despite the fact that I can get salt locally, it is almost 1/3 more expensive where I live. Salt makes a big difference in dishes (although it causes corrosion to aluminum) in areas with hard water. There is not a whole house system for water softening in my house. In my second dishwasher, I put 2-cups of dishes in there It lasts me 9 months to wash my clothes 3 times a week and to use a box of water (with medium hard water).

Hard water is a great problem to solve
5/5

I have a tap water problem because the mineral content simply eats away at the pack of three salts is available in different sizes. My Bosch dishwasher will last about eight months with 3 pounds and I won't have to use up my gallon of vinegar that I keep under the sink to remove mineral deposits from my stainless steel I can put my dishes and glasses in the dishwasher and they will come out The purchase of a dishwasher that softens the water is a wise investment.
