It might help, but I'm not sure. When it comes to washing the dishes, I use Cascade, and when it comes to rinsing I use Jet Dry. However, I did receive a new dishwasher when I rented the apartment. Because of that, I cannot tell you whether or not it will reduce odor. Maybe you should call someone to have the dishwasher checked out there might be a hidden particle or something that is making the dishes smell bad? You may need to start up the dishwasher without dishes to see if any hidden particles are cleared out? It's probably past the point where you've used many detergents to see if that helps, and if it did, I'm sorry I couldn't help much more.

When I use the dishwasher, I can sometimes see a film on the dishes due to hard water where I live. When I remove the rinse agent from my Bosch dishwasher, it won't run. There is nothing more to say. It used to be that I would just fill the rinse agent with water, but the dishwasher and I both knew that Then I gave in to it and starting feeding it Jet-Puffed I wanted it so badly to be dry. Jet dry is a product I have been using for years, and I find it makes a significant difference with glass. Compared to the 8oz "never run out" size, I prefer the 32oz "never run out" size. You can find smaller sizes at the grocery store. A consumable with this much better value per ounce would be extremely hard to top. Thank you so much, Amazon has it.
