I fill a small door in my washer with Jet Dry and it automatically dispenses at the appropriate time; I'm not sure about putting it in the dish washer like a gel pak. It appears to me that it should be used at the end of the cycle while rinsing the dishes so that the water "sheets" off the dishes. I hope that was clear.

This is not a dishwashing soap, but rather a rinse aid.

This item was originally purchased as a semi-used item. Purchase made on the spur of the moment to meet Amazon Prime Pantry's free shipping quota. We'd never used a rinse aid before, but our dishwasher has a spot for them. If I saved $6 on shipping, I figured it was worth the $3. br>br>So, the box arrived the other day, and I used it today on our load. I was taking all of our glassware out of the dishwasher and saying, "OH MY GOD," in various tones. My husband suspected something was wrong, but I was simply astounded by the SPOTLESSNESS and clarity of our glasses, which had never come out clean or spot free before. It was absolutely fantastic. I had the impression that I was in a commercial; I was unable to remain silent. I was blown away by each and every glass I took out. I really can not emphasize how impressed I am with this product. Our glasses ALWAYS come out with some kind of grime or buildup or flaky dust in them (despite going in% WOW. I'm tempted to rewash all of my spotless glasses just to keep them that way. My flatware, too, is always covered in drying spots, which is a shame because it's so lovely. But I'm not going to take the time to clean them, so they're just going to stay. They're spotless after just one wash with this stuff. Just like the day we took them out of the box. AMAZING. I'm not sure how I've never heard of this before now. This is incredible and I cannot recommend it highly enough! (For a semi-pro, this is a pretty good deal. ) Purchase on the spur of the moment!.
Make sure you read the product's details to ensure you're getting the exact size bottle you think you're getting. Because this bottle is so small, I opened the box and assumed they had forgotten to pack my Finish. Despite this, my "5 stars" are for the product itself, not for my inability to read; I love Finish; I have a stainless steel tub dishwasher that we run on Eco mode; as a result, my dishes come out of the dishwasher wet; by adding Finish, they're dry, and my glass is very sparkly; and there's a control on my dishwasher as to how much Finish my dishwasher will use; and there's a control on my dishwasher as to how much Finish my dishwasher will use I only use the Finish once a month and then forget about it — it's fantastic! This is an excellent product.

I have hard water, which leaves a film on my glasses after they've been washed in the dishwasher. I was hoping that by using finish, they would come out of the dishwasher looking as gleaming as they did in the commercials. I believe it helped, but after coming out of the dishwasher, my glasses still require polishing. We're still looking for a better answer.
DO NOT BUY THIS unless you enjoy cleaning the residue off every item that goes into the dishwasher! Because it's brand new, I know it's not my dishwasher. Since I started using this product, the water spots and residue have gotten even worse! I HATE IT!.
Shipping was quick and there were no spills or leaks! In my dishwasher, it works perfectly. To clean windows and glass, combine 2 tbsp of this with a drop of dawn, 2/3 cup vinegar, and the remainder of a spray bottle of water.
I despise it when my dishes return to their original state after being washed. That was the situation before I realized what I required. This worked perfectly, and all of my plastic items are now spotless.
There were no obvious advantages to using this over not using it. I clean my glasses with finish powerball tabs, and I occasionally notice some spots on them. This was added to assist with that, but it did not appear to be of any assistance - In fact, it appears to aggravate the situation at times. If you get spots, I think it's best to turn off any heated wash options and run hot water in the sink nearby until it's hot. I stopped using this because it didn't appear to add any value to my washes.
