In the long run, does the silicone insert have to be replaced?

I had mine for a little over a year and I have never replaced it, but I do clean it once in a while with hot water soap and a little bleach just to be sure that it remains Neither its shape nor size has changed. They were the same when I bought them. enjoy it a great deal.

My decision was between this and a round chainmail scrubber after doing some research on chainmail scrubbers for cast iron cleaning. My choice was based on my desire to be able to grab hold of a large portion of the scrubber in my hand, whereas a flat sheet scrubber would have been too tight in my fist, leaving me little to work with outside of it. Eventually the silicone bar squirted out of the opening, so I took a few of the small rings that had been doubled and used them to close it up. As for the silicone bar, you don't really need to take it out since you can squirt some soap on it and clean it or put it in a You must use 2 sets of pliers to bend and rebend the rings to close this opening (to use, use two sets of pliers). This tool will probably stay in the travel trailer so I can clean the Dutch oven when I go camping. It is my favorite for cleaning cast iron.

This product does what it is advertised to do. Before purchasing, I read the reviews about the opening at the bottom, and I immediately addressed it as soon as I unpacked it. I used two zip ties to close the opening a bit and it worked perfectly. I will definitely recommend it.

A cast iron sponge is a must-have if you cook with cast iron! This works amazing for cleaning cast iron skillets of dirt and grime! You can just scrub under hot water to remove the extra cooking grease and stuck-on food A coating on food dislodges and falls down the drain easily! In addition to being easy to clean, the silicone sponge has a ring at the corner that makes it easy to hang up for drying

My cast iron pans needed to be cleaned with this sponge. A soft rubbery feeling is the sensation of the sponge itself. This product definitely accomplishes what it is supposed to. The pans are perfectly clean after using it. With its chains on the outside, it could be used with or without water to get off food that has stuck to it. The product is excellent. I would purchase it.

I had seen similar metal scrubbers in place in the past and finally decided to give it a try. As we use cast iron pans a lot, we find that this cleaning sponge cleans them thoroughly and quickly without affecting the seasoned coating. To clean the sponge, simply pull it out of the orange silicone bag! This is a fantastic product that I'm not sure why I waited so long to try it.

It is made of silicone, and it has a nice give to it. Only thing is that the top needs to be closed better in order to prevent the silicone from slipping, it's It is still a product I would buy in the future if the need arose again.

Scrubbing the end of the chain slips the chain around the end. As a result, it does not come off, I guess one would describe it more accurately as a twist, however I do not think it can be fixed. There was no noticeable difference between cleaning with it and without it. Despite the fact that I regret purchasing it, I am glad I did.
