What are the chances of these pads scratching or damaging ?

As a result of my lack of experience, I am wary about trying this. It is known that stainless steel can show marks from time to time.

My god, what a coincidence! I Can't Stop Staring at These Things! It is true that I was raised by a mother who was 100 percent involved with everyday life It's okay for me to do some of the housework
5/5

I think I thought I was going to be able to do it all in the real world, so I ran away. I quickly learned that at 21 years of age I was nowhere near the expert I thought I was in life. Keeping my house clean is my nemesis. It's not my strong suit. For most of my life, I have thought hand soap could be used for As a kid, I remember my mother using these, but I had never actually tried them until now. Quite a few people seem to like them. Since I had no clue what they were, I will be honest. It was unfamiliar to me, but I knew Steel wool (a very fine, soft steel wool) with soap is all they are. In fact, they are only designed to be used once. They are used for scrubbing, and are generally considered a 'one time use' product. My hard lesson has been that rust happens if they're left out in the wet (and these marks can leave lasting damage in their wake). In spite of their disposable nature, they are well worth their price. Steel wool is very soft (unlike other steel wool products), so they won't scratch your hands when you scrub. You can scrub as hard as you want without getting pricked by any loose pieces of The first experiment I did in my shower was to identify the temperature. I literally used shampoo to clean out my shower after it had been grimed up for a long time. At the time, I only thought about it. After I cleaned my nozzles, drain, and walls with these things, I scrubbing my nozzles, drain, and walls for about an hour. Then I rinsed, got out of the tub, and thought, "Holy crap!" I wonder how I didn't know about them earlier? It literally looked brand new when I stepped out of my shower! Now let's move on to the next section I'll put the kitchen sink in! In the past, I had cleaned the sink using dish soap. The sink looks super shiny after you do these things. There was practically a mirror on the wall! Amazingly, I was in awe. As I thought of what else I could clean, I asked myself, "What else can I do?"? I found a few stainless steel pots and pans in the kitchen. In all cases, the browning that normally occurs on a pan was eliminated 100%. In the middle of writing this to-do list, I stopped and went to my computer to finish writing. Hopefully this will make it easier for all the girls out there who need a quick fix in the way of their housecleaning needs. These are the tools you need! I am in awe of you.

It's the Scrubbie that comes to the rescue when Scrubbies don't
5/5

It is intended for users who have never used an S before. The pads before they were just a wad of fine steel wool with this great sudsy soap that seems to clean everything more effectively. Usually you will only be able to use them a couple of times before they disintegrate due to rust. Moisture isn't their friend and they rust virtually overnight if not properly shaken after use and before storing them. The best wishes of Love, In pad format. My usual method of washing dishes is with an old toothbrush.

A 50+ year track record of customer During the writing of S, I With a proven history of 50+ years, Steel Wool Soap Pads are the best
5/5

It's impossible to find anything like them for cleaning pots and pans whose surface has been soiled with oil or grease. One day, when I washed dishes for my new husband (who thought they were a new miracle product for sale), I thought they were some sort of new miracle product. It had never occurred to him to use them before, and he was delighted when he discovered they made pots and pans easier to clean without as much effort. I just wanted to say thanks for your support. Having said that, they do rust over time (they're steel after all) and if you leave them out they will stain your sink. Under my sink, I open the top of the box and keep it there. In the open box, I usually put the used pads on top of the unused ones after I am done using them. So that I can keep them handy and avoid "rusting" the sink, I store them this way. It only takes about three uses for the pads to stop working. They are "brown" from rust when they are brown "Red" soap on the left and "blue" soap on the right In my opinion, they should be discarded. It's a fantastic product - I would highly recommend it The benefits of handwashing even extend to those who do not do their dishes by hand Besides being useful when used on the stove top, they can be used in the oven on the grilled shelves, on frying pans, etc. Thanks to AOL for pointing me to these - I'm so glad to find them! They have stopped being sold in some stores. It is also wonderful to know the manufacturer has not even attempted to "improve" them after all these years Just the way they are, they are perfect.

Steel wool that has taken on a soapy texture
5/5

Pads have a generous amount of lather per pad and are very scrubby. The only thing I've used them for so far is to scrub off severely baked-on dirt Food remnants from glass cookware and rust from tools are both cleaned well by these methods. As a result of baking Food came off very easily (it was whey that was left over after making a particular type of cheese that needs to be baked and then grilled-- A burned-out building It's an absolute nightmare getting rid of that on whey! It took a little more elbow grease than I had anticipated, but it still came off much easier than I expected. for the tools, I soaked them in vinegar overnight in order to loosen up the rust, and then used them to scrub off much of the rest of the rust. Even though the smell of rust and vinegar with the steel and soap made my skin crawl, it accomplished its purpose well. Thanks to the tools, I didn't have to scrub very I'm sure the vinegar soak did a lot to loosen the rust, but the used pads by the time I was done scrubbing were full of rust gunk, so the pads did get rid of a lot of the leftover rust.
