When it comes to buying this product just to clean a cast iron pan, I consider it to be quite pricey. My restaurant has trialed this product in place of a metal scrubber this claims to be more effective than on other things. You can just clean something flat if you want to. There is a lot in there that is elevated, and the chainmail is just way too heavy for that kind of cleaning to work. It has a really awkward shape in the hand. To keep it from crumpling I had to wrap it around a metal scrubby I was trying not to use. Eventually, I just scrubbing with my favorite metal scrubby was my only choice. I found it easy to clean, but it did not suit It was just not worth the price tag on this product. What are the chances of people trying to cook with cast iron How important are these to you? Can you live without two?.

Cleaning them has been hard for me so I'm looking for the best way to do it. Lodge cast iron pans are used in these However, I've still found it to be a pain even with Lodge scrapers. It was too bad they left so much residue on the floor. So I decided to decide to use stainless steel chain mail. There is nothing I would rather do than be happy. There was stuff baked into the pan while I made cheese burgers. With its raised grill surface, it offers a more spacious cooking It took me until the next day to get to the pan. My first step was to slightly warm up the pan and start cooking. It took about the same amount of effort, or slightly less, as with There was much less food left on the raised grill surface so the pan looked much cleaner. It was just as simple to clean the stainless steel chain mail. I rinseed it after I shuffled it around in my hand with some Dawn. All in all, I am satisfied with the process and won't worry about cleaning cast iron pans again in the future.

The chain mail in this case is different from the chain mail I have previously used, as the rings make the contact. The mesh gets very little contact with the pan, so it takes some elbow grease to get it clean. The pattern of these is perfect for carefully cleaning pans that you want to keep in good shape, but I prefer another pattern that will clean cast iron a bit more abrasively and is still fine.
