For the first time, I purchased these Platinum pods because the container appealed to me and the price was reasonable. What a difference it makes when everything shines without a single droplet on it. My flatware and dishes are both vintage. And, despite the fact that my dishwasher is 15 years old, a full load of dishes comes out incredibly shiny when run through the "Normal Wash" cycle. Friends from Procter & Gamble once told me Take a chance that any of their top-of-the-line products will have the best content possible. They certainly do in the case of Cascade Platinum!.
However, after contacting Cascade, I discovered that the product's shelf life code on the container indicates that it was manufactured in April of 2017, well past its 18-month shelf life. What caused this to happen?.
However, I was underwhelmed by the clarity of my glasses. I saw a commercial in which a plumber recommended Cascade Platinum. It was, indeed, a Cascade advertisement. However, every now and then, I come across commercials that are completely accurate. As it turned out, this was the case. I even had to put something in the dishwasher that I normally scrub first, and it came out clean and shiny, much to my surprise. As a result, I'm a supporter!.
Dishes, glasses, pots and pans, and the dishwasher itself came clean on the first use using the shortest wash cycle and no heat cycle, erasing a slightly hazy appearance left by the previous product. There's no trace of washing powder in the lavender scent. This product saves resources by using less electricity to power the machine, less fuel to heat the water, and a very short running cycle that uses less water, as well as less wear and tear on the dishwasher, all of which offsets the higher price.
I've always used Finish, but since getting our new dishwasher, we've noticed a lot of residue and spots, even when using Jet Dry as well. br>br>After seeing that Cascade Platinum included a dishwasher cleaner, I decided to switch. We haven't had any issues with residue or spotting since then, and my dishwasher is always spotless after each wash.
I recently moved into my first apartment, and I am now the proud owner of my very first dishwasher. I didn't care about it for the first few months. I've never been one of those people who enjoys using the dishwasher. I never understood why they were necessary because I always assumed you had to rinse everything before putting it in the dishwasher. After speaking with one of my coworkers, they advised me to just give it a try, promising that I would enjoy it. So I bought these cascade platinum dishwasher pods, as well as a rinse aid, and I'm not sure I'll ever hand wash again. It was incredible how good everything smelled and how clean it was. I only lightly rinse a few items if necessary, but these pods are fantastic. I strongly suggest it.
I've tried other dishwasher pod brands, but Cascade is the only one that actually cleans my dishes. They leave a pleasant odor while also removing the streaks. I experimented and tried off-brands from Publix and Amazon just for fun, and they failed miserably (bad odor in the dishwasher, didn't clean the dishes well enough that I had to rewash two or three times). I also like that Cascade offers a variety of quantity options, making the price worthwhile. If I don't use many dishes, these will last me over a month.
