Because I have extremely hard water, I must use salt in my water softener; otherwise, these pods leave hard water spots on my dishes. As a result, I believe it would be dependent on the hardness of your water.
Yes! I believe I've just picked up on something that may be of assistance to you. Of course, make sure your water is hot enough (120-140 degrees Fahrenheit). Clean your filters and spinner arms on a regular basis (at least once a week at 140 degrees F). A word of advice: Take a paper towel and thoroughly (obsessively? ) dry the dirty dishes once the dishwasher is fully loaded. ) Dry the dispenser in which the Pac will be placed. If there is any moisture present, the Pac may begin to soften/dissolve, but when heat, even from the water, is applied, it hardens. The Pac then sticks to the dispenser or only empties partially, hardening instead of dissolving. (Obviously, I don't understand the science behind this, but after 2 months of doing all of our dishes twice, I'm relieved to have found a simple solution to an inconvenient, wasteful, and inefficient situation.) Best of luck!
They go into a section of my dishwasher. But, in the past, I've simply thrown one in for extra soap and nothing bad has happened. So yeah, I think it'll be fine as long as they don't touch the heating element and put it in the farthest corner from the heat:
What you're washing will determine how long it takes to dry. Do you have a lot of food that has been dried or baked on? Yes, it's more powerful. No, there aren't a lot of glassware and dinner plates that haven't been used in a long time! The stronger tablets have more grit, which will cause your glassware to become cloudy and the paint on your coffee mugs to wear off over time due to abrasion.

For several years, we've been using Cascade pods. Why? Because it is more convenient. Oh, how simple it is to "pop" in a pod and close the dishwasher door! It most certainly is. HOWEVER. What I've discovered, and what I hope everyone who reads this review discovers, is that while these pods are convenient, they are not good for your dishes. particularly your glassware Why? There are two factors at play here. br>1) TOO MUCH SOAPbr>2) TOO MUCH RINSE AIDbr>The truth is that cleaning your dishes only requires about a tablespoon of detergent. Ignore the myth that leaving food on the dishes helps the detergent work better. HORSE HOCKEY! br>Before loading, make sure you rinse your dishes thoroughly. br>Using the pods with rinse aid doubles the amount of water that needs to be "sheened" off for better and clearer drying. FOAMING CAN BE CAUSED BY TOO MUCH RINSE AID! As a result, etching will take place. Look, if you don't thoroughly rinse the soap off your dishes, the drying cycle will bake the soap residue onto your dishes, resulting in a cloudy appearance. br>To get clean and CLEAR dishes, follow these steps: br>1) Before loading the dishwasher, remove all food remnants from the dishes. br>2) Use only 1 Tablespoon of LIQUID Dishwasher soap. Cascade liquid is fine for me, but the concentrated version is not. br>3) Use a good rinse aid. br>4) Before starting your dishwasher, run your hot water in the sink until it's very hot. br>JUST LIKE THE WASHING MACHINE PODS, THESE Pods are a marketing ploy to get you to buy more product. And, while we're at it, Fabric Softener! Hint: 50% water to dilute your fabric softener. br>By the way, did you know that when you use the product that "cleans" your dishwasher tub, you're actually using a rinse aid? Which, not surprisingly, is made by the same companies that are trying to convince you to use more soap? Everyone, get up! It's all about the tens of thousands of dollars. br>We do not recommend this product.
It cleans the dishes well, but it leaves a very strong aftertaste and odor on the dishes, containers, utensils, and everything else. I had to rewash everything after putting everything back in the dishwasher and using a different brand of detergent. The odor appears to build up and become stronger with each use. I threw them all away after only using a few.
Following the switch to this detergent, I discovered that my old dishwasher began to leak. We ran the dishwasher at night, so we didn't notice the leak until the new wood flooring was permanently damaged. br>br>I replaced all of the seals, but there were still leaks. The excessive suds produced by this detergent was finally discovered to be the source of the leak. The suds cause leaks from the door seals and the water level float in the dishwasher. br>br>I've included two photos of this detergent in use. When I used the old detergent, there were a lot less suds and no leaks. Regrettably, I ordered a new dishwasher before determining the source of the leaks. So using this detergent ended up costing me a lot of money, and I see that other people have had similar issues with it.
For the past seven months, I've been using shoddy members mark dishwasher pods. Because so much soap scum and other nasties had accumulated in my dishwasher and on my dishes during that time, I decided to spend a little more and try this product. and wow! The dish washer is looking much better after 8 loads, and the built-up scum on my dishes and dishwasher is finally coming off. I'm confident that with continued use, my machine will be as good as new. It's wonderful to be able to see through clear glasses and eat from truly clean dishes once more. I'm a tired mother who has to feed six people. Every night, I prepare a meal. Coconut oil, butter, and olive oil are all common ingredients in my cooking. I honestly am too tired to hand wash so many dishes and cookware every night, so I rely on my machine; however, I wish I had been using Cascade Platium because my dishes have felt and looked gross for the past 7 months, and my washer's performance has deteriorated. I caught myself hand-washing dishes AFTER they had been "cleaned" by the dishwasher. Dishwashing pods marked with members' marks should never be used again. I'm glad Cascade is undoing the damage caused by that other garbage. I'm blown away by how well Cascade platium is performing. Because their regular pods failed to impress me, I had low expectations.
Everything, including the common casserole, etc. , comes out very clean and spot free (though I do use a separate drying agent). br>However, there are two aspects to be aware of that were unexpected:br>1st, this product reacts with aluminum. When I washed my Bialetti stovetop espresso maker (along with an aluminum garlic press), the inside and outside surfaces became roughened. This is something that other users have confirmed. Second, silicone implements (spatulas, scoops, scrapers, and so on) quickly and thoroughly absorb the detergent flavor. These, as well as the aluminum items, will need to be hand washed from now on after scrubbing with vinegar. br>Just in case you didn't realize it. It is a highly efficient cleaner.
Quality is poor. I love this brand and this product, but the one that came with this box was different from the rest; it didn't clean my dishes and left a strange gross residue on them. I threw them away and went back to Target to purchase another box, which worked perfectly. I guess it was just a bad box for me.
Anyone would benefit from this. My dishes have never been cleaner or dryer after they've been taken out of the dishwasher. I used to have issues with my dishes remaining damp after the dishwasher cycle had completed, forcing me to hand-dry everything, which was inconvenient. I was hooked after a friend recommended it to me and gave me one to try. I no longer rinse my dishes, which saves me a lot of money on my monthly water bill. br>I've thrown super dirty dishes in the dishwasher just to see if they'd come out clean (including the pot from my coffee maker, which had a ton of coffee stains that no amount of scrubbing could remove) - So, guess what? They are always spotless, gleaming, and spotless. br>I'm a sucker for this stuff!.
