They requested that I provide the UPC and batch numbers printed on the canister, and they informed me that the lids had been changed from yellow to clear plastic, as Amazon had depicted. Another Amazon Fresh find for me, but because it's a single canister, it's a little more expensive than the multipacks from the other major brands. The texture of the Lysol wipes, on the other hand, is one of my favorites. Can be used to scrub kitchen stains because it is thick and durable. My only gripe is that the plastic wrap around the canister's entire circumference is frayed.
I've read some reviews that claim this product is a fake because it lacks a safety seal. The wipes are no longer sealed by Lysol, so don't hold your breath for one. The date code indicates that the product was removed from the line on July 21st (20=2020 and 202 = July 21st), indicating that it is a recent product. Wipes are the standard 7x7 size, but appear to be slightly less damp than my Clorox wipes. The product is deserving of 5 stars - However, Amazon Prime Pantry's packaging is a stumbling block. There are no threads on the tops of these containers, so they simply pop off. When you first use an item, there is usually a foil seal that needs to be removed. The foil seal on mine was missing - Odd. br>br>The issue is that these wipes were busted open by can goods packed on top of the wipes in my Prime Pantry box. The top had been removed, and all of the Lemon-scented items had been strewn about the room. Most of the contents of the prime pantry box had been covered by lime liquid. It's a good thing the rest of the items were well-sealed, because they all SMELL like lemons. lime now. br>br>Amazon, please instruct your shipping department to exercise greater caution!
