I'm not sure if it actually repels spots, but it cleans up well and appears to slow down the formation of spots. This is by far the best shower door cleaner I've ever used.
The instructions on the bottles/canisters state which surfaces are safe to use. It claims to be suitable for kitchen use. The type of food surface you have, whether porous like granite or marble, will still be important. I wish I could give you a definitive answer to your question, but I can't because I don't know which surface you're referring to. Is it possible to enlarge the bottle instructions from the Amazon photo and description so that they can be read?
NO, you should never clean an oil painting with harsh chemicals. Water and a mild olive oil-based soap are the only products recommended. For dust, I only used a soft brush, and for surface dirt, I used a damp rag.
You may already know the answer, but when I was rehabbing houses, I used Fantastik or 409 cleaners to remove tobacco residue.

It's a decent spray. The only way to get rid of stubborn stains on my glass shower doors was to use a soft scrub. I gave it my all, and I mean it.
I would strongly suggest it. I have a collection of high-end aluminum and stainless-steel pans. Burn marks from the burners could be seen on the bottoms. I was furious because the pans were brand new. I needed the mark to be removed, so I did some research and found this product. I placed an order for this as well as a unique sponge. After only two applications of the gentle cleanser, I applied it in circles with medium pressure, waited thirty seconds, and the marks were gone. My prized cookware has been re-polished to its former glory. Yay! I probably won't use the spray on my pans because of its consistency; instead, I'll use the soft cleanser, but I'm sure I'll find a use for it. This is a must-have for anyone with satins or burn marks on their cookware. I have a sponge with one side that is slightly textured and the other that is smooth. I'm a contented chef!.
This is the brand that I use to clean my copper sink. Because the powder version can be messy, I was hoping this would be just as effective. However, while it works, I had to leave it on the surfaces for a longer period of time (powder works quickly), and some areas were still tarnished. I haven't tried it on anything other than my copper sink because it's easy to use and rinse away, but it's not as effective.
It's incredibly simple to use this stuff. It only takes a few sprays to remove the buildup. The rest can be wiped away with a paper towel, and you're done. I have a copper sink that I've had trouble keeping clean. br>br>The foul odor has been noted by many. It has a strong chemical odor, but so do most cleaning products. The only negative aspect I can think of is that it damaged the finish on my drain cover. Also, any antiquing finish you might have will be removed.
I discovered a bottle of this in the bathroom of a neglected home belonging to an elderly family member. It's absolutely incredible. There's no need for me to clean it. Simply apply it to iron stains and leave it alone. The next time you flush the toilet or take a shower, it will be washed away. I use it on new fixtures to keep them white, but I've also used it on a toilet that's been in the house for a long time. The homeowner inquired as to what I did, claiming that he had never seen a toilet that clean before. I didn't even give it a good scrub. I set it aside until he flushed the toilet the next time he used it.
Bought some nice new stainless steel copper core 5ply pots and pans, which were seriously impressivebr>br> Of course, they get filthy and sometimes get some baked-on grime when I burn things a little. It's not difficult to remove, but it does appear to discolor these expensive pans. I read dozens of reviews about how to use this stuff there. Those reviews, I'm happy to say, are genuine. Keep in mind to clean with the steel's grain! br>br>I even tried it on a rusted tooth brush holder and soap dispenser that had been neglected, nothing too bad but a few specks of rust here and there, not very appealing. This is a must-have household cleaning item if you have a lot of stainless steel or other polished metals around the house. br>br>It only takes 5 minutes and a dab of this stuff to remove the rust and make it look like new. br>br>.
Following the reviews, I was optimistic that this would work. My soap scum ring in the shower was unfortunately not removed. The ring is still there after using both the spray and the soft scrub with a scouring pad and a lot of elbow grease. I'm giving it two stars because it left the rest of the shower walls very shiny and clean looking. Maybe it'll work better on some stained tiles I have, and I'll update my review once I've tried it on one.
On the outside of my Cuisinart oven, it cleans up beautifully. After an alcohol-based kitchen wipe product was accidentally used on the exterior of the oven and discolored it, the Cuisinart helpline recommended this product to restore the finish.
