I had no idea there was a cloudy appearance, and I was very pleased with this product.
It can get stuck due to rust or residue from what you scrape; I've had this product/scraper for years and it still happens; I simply replace it.

So, until I moved into a new (for me) place a month or two ago, I'd never had a glass cooktop before, and I started using my favorite iron skillet on it like an idiot. After a few weeks, it occurred to me that I should have looked into what cookware is suitable for a glass stovetop, and it was too late that I discovered that an iron pan should never be used, for a variety of reasons. There was a lot of burned-on crusty stuff all over the one burner I was using (thankfully). br>br>So, assuming I wasn't the first person to do this, I went in search of a solution and decided to give this a shot. It took a good half-hour, at the very least. It took about an hour with the cleaner and the scrubby that came with it to get it to work, but it did. All but a few minor blemishes have vanished, and I can now run my hand over the glass and it is smooth once more. The most important thing is that whoever inherits this stove after me will have no idea what happened.
Anyone who owns or uses an induction glass or conduction glass stove should have one of these kites; the secret is to simply clean your stove top with water and detergent after the "hot" surface light goes out, then buff it dry with a terry cloth or micro towel every time you use it. If left overnight, sugar and melted syrups are the hardest to remove.
I clean my glass top stove on a regular basis, both with the tool that holds the scrubby pad and with the product itself. It's great and it works. Because we don't have a lot of drips, I don't use the scraper as much, but a small amount of this and a scrubby pad do wonders. Love it.
It's a little shabby with the sponges, but it gets the job done. The sponges are extremely thin and do not stay in place. Another person mentioned that the razor in the scraper doesn't stay exposed and keeps sliding back into the protective cover. The man was correct. When you need it the most, it keeps sliding back and forth; I wish it could lock into place while in use. I was apprehensive about using this on the glass top because I was afraid it would scratch it. But I'm glad it didn't happen. It was very clean - a nice gleam However, I was unable to get all of the marks out as I had hoped. So be aware that the merchandise is somewhat shoddy, and I believe I paid too much for what I received.
I was utterly crushed! We invested in a brand new stove. I was so excited until I burned an egg on the first cook. I tried everything I had on hand to get it off but nothing worked. I was so depressed until I saw this product and ordered it. It arrived and I used it. The stove was clean in less than three minutes. I can't believe it. Thank you so much.
I should've listened to some other reviews' advice. My glass now has a small scratch on it. That does not make me happy. CLEANER is an excellent liquid. SCRUB TOOL is a clever cleaning tool that makes cleaning a breeze. GREASE REMOVER should be purchased if you have grease. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ONE IS TO CLEAN THE ROOM.
I immediately removed it. I'll definitely buy it again.
My home came with an older, heavily used ceramic top stove that had never been cleaned - Maybe one day. They even melted the top of the burner in a couple of spots. I was hoping for some improvement, and now I wish I had taken better "before" photos because I was able to remove all of the burned debris from the top, and it now looks fantastic. (4 burner areas)br>br>It took me about an hour of steady work with the scraper, pad, and, of course, cleaner. I still had more than 3/4 of the cleaner. I used a pad that appears to have been used only a few times. I now only buff and shine my car once a week - It only takes 3 minutes and it's back to its former glory (I clean the counters daily with a damp paper towel). (Just in case you were wondering - No, the melted spots were not fixed - But who'd have guessed?.
