Having to get the Ocedar mop base is the best option, it is too big. During a vacation rental stay we stayed in, my rental came with one and it was the best dust mop that I've ever used. It is expensive ($30 for base and head, as I recall. You can use it over a much larger area than a Swiffer does, and it picks up dust and dirt better, as well.
