This product was purchased to treat an unpleasant smell on our carpeted steps caused by pet urine. However, the odor is still present. This product blew me away with its amazing perfume. I had not expected it to be so intense smelling. This stuff made the whole home smell like Febreze, which could be overwhelming for people with a more sensitive nose. This product was applied several times to a small section as I wiped it until the fluid ran mostly clear then rinsed it again with clean water until that was clear too. It took me a while to notice, but when I went outside to get something and came back inside, the smell was so wonderful. In a nutshell, I do agree that it improved our carpet a lot. Our pet stain remover works better than Resolve or any other pet stain remover when we use a wet cloth or sponge to scrub spots. Although the carpet near some stains has been cleaned up very well, we still find some stains that seem to be permanent (from before we moved in) and stand out even more now that it is now so clean in their vicinity. Additionally, the rooms smelled really nice for about 48 hours (maybe) after using this product (and his accidents hadn't occurred since we used it). However, after that my nose started catching a whiff of that puppy urine again. Therefore, it shows positive results after using this product, but it's not a miracle cure.
