Surfactants (soap) are found in it. It is mildly basic, but not to the point of being corrosive to metal.
Yes, it's true to some extent. I suppose I'd compare it to a liquid wax in terms of consistency. If that's what you're looking for, think of a watery cream rather than an ammonia-based glass cleaner. I hope this information is useful.
The frequency with which the shower is used will determine the cost. if soap scum begins to accumulate It's time, I'd say an ounce every month on average.
I believe so, because I use it on my shower doors and it works perfectly.

We have extremely hard water, and I've spent countless hours scrubbing and cleaning with it. I bought "Bar Keepers Friend Liquid Cleanser" recently just to try something new, and it's fantastic! I wasted so much time and effort with this Rain X product; with the Bar Keepers Friend, I only had to do a quarter of the work and our shower door looks brand new!.
I simply used a squeegee to re-wet it. I had to redo some parts of the shower, but the majority of it came off the first time; it's amazing, and I highly recommend it. One of the five glass walls that surround our shower is shown in this photo. They all appear to be the same as the "after" photo.
To remove the water marks and soap scum from my shower door, I've tried everything. Nothing has even come close to providing me with these outcomes! The true results can be seen in my before and after photos. I applied the product with a Scub Daddy pad instead of a cloth. It took me an hour to paint the entire door (inside and out), but I am very pleased with the outcome. Shower door stains are no match for this product!.
X SD, I first tried a 6"x6" square with a microfiber towel to see how well it worked, and I was surprised/amazed at how easily the stains came out (see photo). I used a small foam applicator drill attachment (purchased from Amazon) to speed up the cleaning process. I cleaned both shower doors (a total of 60" wide) in about 45 minutes (using Rain-X). Inside/outside, X with a window cleaner. This is a product that I would strongly recommend.
Hard water spots have stained the entire glass surface of my master bathroom shower. I chose Rain-X after scouring the internet (mostly Amazon) for a product that customers recommended for removing hard water spot stains and soap scum. The cleaner for X's shower door. I chose this product based on customer before and after photos, which were quite impressive. Each of the before photos resembled what I was working with at the time, while the after photos are exactly what I desired. Plus, the photos were submitted by customers, so they weren't all Rain-related. Isn't X attempting to sell their product? br>br>I was sent the Rain- X and followed the instructions to the letter. Rain- My water stains were barely scratched by X. I tried again, hoping that a second go around with the problem would clear it up. Nothing has happened so far. It was almost as if I had done nothing at all. Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't get it to work. Perhaps I was given a bad batch. Finally, I discovered that a concoction of 1 part vinegar and 1 part Dawn, as recommended on the internet, worked exceptionally well; 90% of the residue and hard water stains were removed on the first try with that mixture.
To get the hard water out of my glass shower, I tried a variety of products. I must admit that the first time I used it with a cloth, it was ineffective; however, the second time I used a non-abrasive sponge for glass, it came out looking as good as the first day the glass was installed.
This stuff is ridiculously expensive, but it works. We let the soap scum build up on our shower door get out of hand. It was clear that homemade baking soda and vinegar solutions weren't up to the task. The Rain- The door is gradually returning to normal thanks to X cleaner. From the first application, I noticed significant improvements, and after three treatments, we only have soap scum around the difficult-to-reach areas. Clean the area around the door handle. br>br>Advice for beginners: 1) Put on gloves and/or sandals or shoes; 2) Buy a good scrubbing sponge made for shower doors to avoid chemical burns.
They appear to be in excellent condition. The right-hand door has been treated, while the left-hand door has not.
