AC coils should not be used with this product. For a foaming AC coil cleaner, I recommend Zep.

Apparently this product does not work as well as the ZEP that I've used in the past. Not sure if it has changed or if it is just that this product doesn't remove calcium deposits as well as ZEP. To sum it up, this product works well in removing.
Because we live in the mountains, I have very hard water, so I have tried CLR and LimeAway, but neither worked. I looked up stuff to do the job and this had good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I really like it, it works great, and my glass shower doors feel In just a few minutes zeps took care of hard water buildup, rust stains, and I was able to walk away from my sinks. I went back some time later and just wiped it out.
The company I used to work for used industrial Zep products. The results were great when it was used. In my opinion, this is true- As I have tried it on my shower, the bubbles do build up, but even with elbow grease it didn't help at all. The reason it doesn't have time to remove calcium and phosphorus is that this is such a liquid Spots caused by chlorine.
This product is not recommended for stains caused by hard water. There were some hard water stains on some windows that have been there for 15 years. everything to get it off, including this product. However, it did not work, even with no dilution and use of steel wool pads. It appears that another green product is available on Amazon that is biodegradable and works just fine! You can use this stuff on a patio table that does not have too much calcium on it. This didn't even touch the stuff from 15 years ago.
Nands may be able to remove it more easily. Calcium, Lime, and Rust Remover from Zep is not a panacea but with time and effort, you will see results. To remove the calcium that had built up in my bathroom sink drain, I had to use it more than once. As it's very thin, it is not able to adhere to I was able to use it. This is a product I would buy In addition to the Zep Toilet Acid Cleaner, I also use Dawn dishwashing liquid.
A good job was done in cleaning up the calcium buildup in the area. The calcium buildup in that area is prevented using this topical cream on a regular basis.
It works as intended.
