Even if there are no threads, you can insert a broom handle into the handle and twist it tight; it may come loose with use, so twist once in a while while working. Wood has a tendency to yield. If you're looking for a semi-permanent solution, this is the place to be screw a wood screw through a hole in the handle to make a permanent wood handle I'm not just guessing because there aren't any threads, I'm speaking from experience. Alternatively, you can use coarse sandpaper to shape the wood to the handle and secure it with a wood screw.
The wrist strap is missing from this item.
Yes, you can reposition the blade to any position because the handle acts as a clamp for the squeegee.
It isn't curved in any way. At the edge, it's about 1/8" thick.

These were always my go-to squeegee when I was cleaning houses for over 15 years. The rubber on the last four I've bought, however, does not stay put when wet and slides out no matter how tight the screws are tightened. I thought the first two I bought were just poorly made, so I bought two more like a fool! I'm not sure what's up with this product lately, but it's completely useless! I'm extremely dissatisfied with this outcome. Don't throw away your money because they aren't as effective as they once were.
You might think this thing isn't very impressive, but you'd be wrong! This was my first attempt at window cleaning in the manner of a professional. For at least 15 years, I haven't washed my windows. A combination of bleach and hard well water really spotted them up when we decided to powerwash the house. I used half a gallon of vinegar and a bucket of hot water containing Dawn dishwashing liquid. I dipped my microfiber wash mitt (which I used to clean the car) into the 5-gallon bucket of water. I used a five-gallon bucket to thoroughly clean the window. It's a good idea to do the next window as well, so it can soak a little longer. I started at the top left edge with the Unger squeegee and pulled it across (I am right-handed). On the following pass, I went across and overlapped the squeegeed part by about 1" to 2". NOTE: Horizontal strokes were the best and left no tracks, AS LONG AS THE UPPER PART OF THE BLADE WAS WIPEED OFF BEFORE YOUR NEXT PASS. To catch any drips and clean the edges, keep a dry microfiber towel handy. PAPER TOWELS ARE NOT TO BE USED. You won't believe how quickly it all happens. I did it after installing 21 sets of windows (inside and out) in my house, sunroom, and mancave, as well as a sliding glass door and a storm door. I warned my wife that if she thought the sliding glass door was open, she would most likely run into it. It had to be me, right?.
For our master bedroom shower, I've used a variety of Squeegees. This is, without a doubt, the best I've ever used. Unlike most of the pretty ones described below, it has a very smooth action that leaves no streaks. It also includes a replacement blade, which will come in handy when it's time to replace it in about a year. This product isn't as attractive as most of the others on the market, with their curved handles and sleek wiper blades, and I've tried a lot of them because my wife prefers something "pretty" in the shower, despite the fact that we can hide the squeegee in our shower.
Squeegee for window tinting and cleaning that is the best in the industry. Full- Everything else I've used that I've had the misfortune to use has been imported garbage. The only blades you should use are the German Unger blades. The price is excellent, and the extra blade is a welcome addition. br>br>(For the past ten years, I've worked as a professional window film installer. ).
It's amazing how much of a difference new rubber and a new handle can make. However, it's a shame they didn't plan for them to stay together. The rubber blade will come out simply by attempting to wipe the excess water from the blade at the end of your stroke. No, tightening the screws didn't make a difference. I learned how to quickly reassemble it after washing five windows.
Cleaning all that glass has been a struggle for me for years. It was a piece of cake with this. I cleaned with dish soap in a bucket of hot water and a sponge mop, then rinsed with the hose and squeegee dried. There are no streaks, and the windows have never looked better.
Today, I was successfully tested on the glass doors of a wiping shower, leaving no smudges. In addition, I received a replacement rubber in the packaging, which was a nice surprise. The product is printed on the packaging to indicate that it is made in China rather than Germany. Despite the fact that it is advertised as a German product, I hope this does not imply a reduction in quality. Continues to test the product in the hopes that it will last a long time, and the product appears to be of good quality and exportable. According to my tests, it's stainless steel, and I'm not afraid to use it in the shower because it won't rust. The product under flowing meme appears to be of good quality. It's light weight and has a rubberized grip handle. Expect to check on large windows on my balcony, as it does not slip from my hand. I am very pleased.
I prefer a wider-than-average rubber squeegee. It's nice to have an extra rubber "blade" in case you need one. It has a hole for hanging on a hook (I added a plastic cord and hung it on a hook attached to the shower stall glass with a suction cup). ) Not a single one of the appealing-modern-style-style-style-style-style-style-style- It's unlikely that design squeegees will end up in a museum of good modern design, but they work amazingly well.
