This mop has been my favorite for quite some time. Basically I have two mop heads and wash one one at a time and use You won't be able to squeeze it to fit As part of the purchase I also purchased a 'Rubbermaid Commercial FG758088YEL WaveBreak Side Press' and an 18-gallon rubbermaid dirty water bucket for use with the WaveBreak mop buckets. FG9C7400RED is another item I bought at Amazon which is also quart, red. Since all of our floors are wooden and ceramic tiles, it squeezes the mop, has wheels, and can be rolled from room to room. I use it every day and it has been the best money I have spent for cleaning.

Update See bottom of page)
I bought this mop handle from Amazon because of all the great reviews, but I never had a chance to use it for a few months due to family circumstances. I realized after I finally put a mop head in it was tricky because it would not fit in the easy-to-install I had a hard time turning that thumb screw! use both hands and get some leverage, I can get it to turn about 3 or 4 clicks, or about a 20th of a full rotation. It is obviously not enough to allow the gate to open so a mop head can be inserted. There is a virtual seal around the entire thing. The damage has been done, and it's too late to turn back now. My hesitant to order another one, but I have two nice mop heads that can only be used with side gate mop handles. ****Update*** I finally broke down and got a second mop handle, as I have a lot of floors (plus pets and teenagers) and small dainty mops just won't cut it, plus I bought the mop heads that come with the side gates. - The second unit appears to work well as described - It is easy to turn the thumb screw, and it is easy to firmly tighten the gate so the mop head can be safely mounted. My review was updated to the latest rating of 3 stars because even though my new mop is fantastic, Rubbermaid is a big company and should have better quality control, especially on something as basic A mop handle's purpose has to do with holding a mop head firmly for long periods, but at the same time allowing it to be loosening and changing at any time. This project is worthless if it fails to perform its main function.
I have been a custodian for 7 years now, and I use it every day to clean the bathroom floors and other hard surfaces in schools. Regular wooden mop handles are provided by the school district, but they are heavy, so I decided to use this Rubbermaid mop handle and have been very satisfied with it. Mop heads can be easily exchanged, the handle is easy to change, and it is lightweight while still being sturdy. mop handle (for a bit more money than the school's provided mop handle) is so much better! Other custodians at my school use it too! Perhaps I should get this for him as a present! This is definitely worth checking out!.
This handy mop handle is just the thing I needed today and I bought it for gentle home use, thinking that if I got a "commercial" type, I would get something better than a standard It may be that I'm just dealing with a defective handle, but this is the worst mop handle that I've ever encountered in 40 years or so of mopping. In this case, the key is "key" You can use it. Despite trying my best, I could not adjust the screw so the mop head would cinch closer to the handle. A gate on the side of the house kept opening. I'm not even going to try using it a second time. When the trash is picked up, it should be taken out promptly.
As soon as we used this product, the left side arm of the plastic arm shown at the top of the product photo broke off. The product is not commercial grade, and Rubbermaid should not market it as such.
I cannot even fathom how this could be The first time I used it, I wasn't even able to use it. Neither of the parts that hold the tabs in place would adhere to each other. The problem could not be resolved regardless of how many things I tried. There is no point in returning something so inexpensive, and you may not even be able to find a box for returning this. However, the other one I received, just like it, works just fine. The good thing is that I bought the longest length and it turned out not to be a good idea. If this is on an average home the ceiling fan will hit the ceiling constantly, my ceiling fan in the kitchen will definitely get The length of the product is WAY too long to be used at home.
A longer wooden mop with rusted metal grippers kept scratching my floors, so I bought this to replace it. Due to the plastic, it's definitely lighter because of the lighter material. I didn't bother to check the length needed and thought this 54" version would be good enough. Because it is so short, I have to bend over when using the mop to scrub hard, dirty areas of the floor because it does not do well on tall people. In order to get a good grip on the mophead, I have to step closer to the mophead, which I find nasty. To prevent injury, I keep my hands as far away as possible from the mophead. As soon as I get home, I will pay more attention to the length of the 60" option.
A metal mop handle used to be a part of my collection because I was under the impression that "metal is the strongest. " That turned out not to be true. It is the nature of metal to bend and deform, which causes it to become softer. Whenever metal is exposed to moisture, it There are scratches on your floor due to metal.
Plastic, such as this mop handle, is dimensionally stable by nature, more rigid than low-cost metal mop handles, doesn't rust, and does not scratch your floors. In addition, I find it much easier to load the mop head, and the mechanism that secures it is more durable than on my previous This mop handle is definitely something I would recommend to others. I'm even more satisfied than I expected.
The Maximizer mop head 1924812 and some others are compatible with this mop head. As a result, I am satisfied. As I watch the item, I see that the price has shifted quite a bit lately, so I think I paid too much for the mop handle, however, it is a solid handle and it is functional as well. The program is being used by me My favorite part about this laundry basket is that I can use my mop heads in there, and this one holds the ones with the long paths so I can use them faster. A little direction would be nice unless it came with no instructions This is a problem I see a lot when it comes to It just arrives without instructions and with just a model number, so you have to figure out what works with what yourself. Currently, I am using this product with.
