manufactures many batteries in China, and many of them leak over time, so make sure you read the label before you buy. In the nine years Duracell has produced AA and AAA batteries in China, I have had both leak years before the 10 year shelf life and destroy items like LED flashlights. There are also many, if not most, other brands that are made in China and leak so there is no obvious solution.
These are some of the facts
You pointed out that the picture shows D batteries, but the batteries I order most often have AAA batteries

When I saw what I actually received, I had to post this since I saw a bunch of nonesense reviews about this I can verify that it is authentic (attached image) I can also confirm that it was shipped by Office Depot (not some swindler) and I can confirm that I ordered it In 2017, the product was manufactured. The warranty lasts for a decade.
There was no success with the first eight. It was too late. It was the second eight that worked. It looks as though there is no way to return them, so a review is called for.
It's always Duracell that I reach for when I need Compared to other batteries, they have the longest life span and the best performance. I find this company to be very There are no differences between these D batteries and any other. Their products are simply better than their competitors. Their prices may not be the cheapest, however they are the best by far. The star rating is 5.
A Duracell representative answered my phone call. The staff recommends that you don't purchase Duracell batteries at this store. Knockoffs was too much for them to say.
The date on the package was too old and damaged to read, so we did not know how old it really was. Presentation of the blister pack was foggy and not clear. The edges of the paper packaging were difficult to remove when I opened the package. It takes only a few tiny shards to reach the plastic edge. The blister lackage was eventually opened and a greasy liquid was found inside upon closer inspection, it did not have any scent. There is no clear indication if the leak is caused by battery leakage or by foreign matter. Since I had no idea what was going on with these batteries, I immediately took them to a recycling center and did not use them. I'm glad I didn't spend any money on this. The battery was sight unseen so I will not buy it Sorry to hear that.
The Duracell batteries were really durable and I found them to be the best option for devices that get a lot of use. They are great for devices that drain quite a bit of energy, and they will last for a long time. The Duracell CopperTop Alkaline batteries have been our household's go-to brand for batteries for years now, and they still live up to their promise! I love the Duracell brand and CopperTop alkaline batteries are now the only batteries we use in our house!.
They arrived in perfect shape, no bleeding, they tested with a multimeter and they are already fully charged, and they were the exact numbers I needed for my Coleman lantern. It will be 62 years old this month and I work as an administrative assistant From the day I could hold a hammer, I have always been a Do-It-Yourselfer and Duracell has always been my go-to alkaline battery for the best performance and dependability.
In a new mag flashlight I keep on my bed, I had these batteries. That was no longer the case. I picked up my mag light and the light was quite The batteries in the mag flashlight were smoking when my husband opened it! Yes, if I hadn't picked up the flashlight I could have started a fire in my bed! Those D batteries were malfunctioning, and that really upsets me. Batteries, even Duracell, need to be taken into account.
