You need to beware of Duracell Clearly this is a marketing scheme that has nothing to do with marketing. There are four identical garlands in my home that are made by BH. I used Duracell Optimum AA batts in 2 of them and standard Duracell AA batts in 2 of them as a test. My next step was to set each one for a 6 hour time period about minutes apart Regardless of the rate of dimming, they all did it simultaneously. The light intensity of the lamps dimmed to barely lit after 2 1/2 weeks of daily use for those six hours, but no noticeable difference was apparent. I would not consider spending more money to get higher results when I have no experience with this application.
Having purchased these long life duracells for the second time, I am going to continue to do so. We bought the first pack from a local store and were very pleased with them. The batteries came packaged in three separate packages inside the main package when this pack was received. Over the course of a little over a month, I consumed the first small pack. As far as I know, I only used It turned out that they didn't last as long as even normal Duracells. All of the batteries had stopped working. As a result of corrosion, dust was produced. Rust was visible on the bottom of the batteries. It was the same story when I opened the third pack. This Duracell is definitely not going to last longer than what you're used to buying. This is just enough time to not be eligible for a refund.
A package arrived in an Amazon bag sealed in white and blue, but inside it contained Duracell batteries. Let me first ask what is going on with the obvious opening of packages on Amazon,(My third). If you were to go to Walgreens or CVS, they are six times more expensive. Plus, they work amazingly.
