Questions & Answers

Comparing them to Duracell, what differences do you find?

There are no complaints about the Amazon brand of alkaline batteries. I've used at least 50 in all of the major sizes over the past 2 years I've been in the military since 2013. The Duracell brand as well as a couple Dollar General alkalines have leaked on me. Buying Amazon batteries is cheaper or less expensive compared to other sources, so I bought the 9-volt, AA, and AAA batteries in bulk and the C and D batteries in smaller quantities.

I have a pair of bose QC 25s and would like to know if they are likely to last a year if I go through 2 pairs What is the average number of rechargeable AA batteries charged per ?

Battery life is reported by Bose to be 35 hours with 48 batteries. 48 batteries would last 1600 hours without being recharged but likely less if the headphones are left on when not in use.

Can you tell me when these batteries are guaranteed?

They are stamped 12-dated and I bought them around July 2017 They are stamped with 8- on the ones I bought around late 2015 or so I bought some 9Vs in early 2017 that have an 8- stamped on them A few of the AAAs I bought early to mid 2017 bear the 6-stamp I bought D cells in December 2017 with a 10-digit serial number The batteries are all shrink wrapped so that they will not come into contact with other batteries or metal components in the box or drawer where they are stored. It has been about 200 alkaline batteries from Amazon and I have yet to have a dud.

It does not interest me how long one battery lasts, it is more interested in how many batteries leak the least. Which batteries leak the ?

You should not be able to put away something that has a leaky battery. It has been 4 years since I left things with batteries in them The age of the child is six I opened the box, the batteries were It hasn't leaked at all! Duracell, Energizer, Walmart, IKEA, and CVS batteries are brands of batteries I have used in the past. I have never had a leak in my 40 years of batteries! The only problem is that people are claiming they "might" leak now. The reason for the low price could be that!

There is a leak in the I was not the only one who had batteries leak, one of my Gideon Flameless LED candles also melted
3/5

That is such a disappointment for me. As a frequent Amazon customer, I thought that a product with the Amazon name would be of high quality. I purchased numerous products from the website.
I would like a refund and a replacement of my There are three candles in my order and the 6 inch one is damaged.

Electronic devices can be destroyed by these batteries because they leak
3/5

However, I hate these batteries. I usually like Amazon products, but I I purchased a pack of 36 AAA batteries in 2015, and have used them in an array of items, including clocks, multi-tools, and communication devices The Amazon batteries have leaked in every single one of these devices I have used for years, including thermometers, infrared thermometers, and IR temperature gauges. I never encountered those problems with Duracell or Energizer batteries. Don't take the risk of a leaking battery by investing in a quality battery. In my experience, Amazon should not be selling such a poor product that has damaged dozens of my electronic devices, costing many times the price of the original battery.

A vehicle alarm remote control leaked and was ruined! It is unfortunate that these batteries are not of high quality
3/5

I bought a carton of them with an expiration date of 2027 and they all go dead quickly. My only reason for trying this brand is due to my failures with Duracell during the past couple of years, including prolonged and chronic Nowadays, finding an adequate battery at any price point seems to be a constant struggle, but believe me when I say that THESE batteries aren't an adequate substitute. Where do we go from here? Basically, I will need to find every piece of equipment in which these leaky batteries are installed and replace them with something new. Not to mention, I'll need to toss the remaining "good" batteries (but I use that term pretty loosely).

There has been a rupture in the battery case! So I would have thought these batteries were great until I opened an RC spider my kids made, and found one of the batteries to be leaking
3/5

The case of a battery has never come apart like this in my experience. It was this time around that AC Delcos were purchased. The performance data from another reviewer suggested they were the best bang for the So far, there haven't been any problems and so I can't say that it's a systemic issue but it's certainly worth noting.

It seems that there is something wrong! I have a new Amazon Firestick remote control (my sweet puppy ate the old After I had it for a few weeks, I received a notice that the battery life was running low, so I bought these Amazon batteries to replace it
3/5

(Amazon is the best! I love it! 1) Received the batteries and changed them in the remote control. On the TV, we're sent a message four days later alerting us that the battery is running low. Because I had my hands full with teaching summer school and raising children, I thought that maybe I had merely "pondered" replacing them before but had not actually done so. That's what I did (again) and sure enough, within four months it was a success Every 5 days, the same alert is displayed. Batteries in the remote have been replaced once again. Earlier in the evening, the same alert popped up. This is unbelievable! The batteries are faulty. What is wrong with them? The amount of batteries I have to replace makes it impossible for me to watch free TV at this rate. It's not worth it to buy these batteries ever.

Buying this item is not a wise decision! The products last for very short periods of time or do not function at all
3/5

My closet turns on LED lights automatically for 30 seconds every time I purchase these batteries. The batteries in my closet need to be replaced once a month, even though I am only in the closet four times a day. I had installed Duracell batteries in my thermostat five years ago, but they failed after two The Thermostat would not turn on after I replaced it with Amazon batteries. tried one pair of Amazon batteries before the other and it worked, then the other pair too! In addition, the thermostat indicated that the batteries were low and the screen was barely visible. I replaced the batteries in my thermostat with Enigizer batteries and had no problems!.

There were 7 brands tested, 1 test result
4/5

As far as capacity is concerned, AmazonBasics batteries perform quite well The two brands are pretty much tied for the top spot among the other 6 brands I've tested, but other brands have the edge in terms of In my calculations, I divided the battery capacity by the cost per battery of the cheapest package size, and they came in third place, and relative to the value leader, they have the advantage of a trusted name. Here are the graphs and tables displaying the results of my testing for the 7 types I have tested so far, and if you would like to learn more about how I run my tests, please contact me. The department of test & analysis I am reviewing. As part of my quest to test all the best apps in the market, I've been checking out It would be great if you could sell AAA batteries on Amazon in a repeatable, precise manner. that I will use the same equipment, same environmental conditions, and the same slots in the equipment for each test. I will fully discharge 3 batteries in my Opus BT-based testing apparatus for each test. The C2000 battery analyzer measures discharge rates at 100 ma, 200 ma, and 400 ma (the discharge As previously mentioned, I have done this exact same test on the ACDelco, Duracell Coppertop, Duracell Procell, Energizer MAX, Maxell and Rayovac (same equipment, same conditions). Please notice that I have linked the other brands I've reviewed at the end of this review, in case you'd like to compare them with this one. each rate of discharge of Amazon Basics batteries, this is what the capacity

Disch Rt | Capacity | Runtime | Example use case
100 mA | 997 mAh | 10 hrs | Low-voltage A high-power LED flashlight that draws 200 mA and runs at 914 mAh for four hours. 4. 5 hours / LED toy with medium lamp. * AMPS 400 mA, distance to fully charge 1 volt. Note that these (and all other alkaline batteries) would achieve a somewhat greater capacity (maybe 1200 mAh) in a low discharge application like a mouse, keyboard, remote control, etc because alkaline batteries have internal resistance that reduces usable capacity. For a comparison of data, please refer to the attached file. In this case, the cost is zero Right now these are just 31 as a 36 pack), which is a decent but beatable price. Although the power provided per dollar spent is very good, it is eclipsed by other options currently available. The following comparison The wisdom of the world, but the value of the world In my experience, the ACDelco AA batteries have the lowest energy cost per dollar the best of any batteries that I've tested. They reported the following results in regard to capacity DISC RST | Capacity | Runtime
100 mA | 1005 mAh | 10 hours at 200 mA | 864 mAh | 4. 2 hours at 100 mA | 1000 mAh. For 3 hours, the battery will draw 400 mA and operate at 670 mAh for These Amazon batteries were dependable. As you can see, they were very competitive in terms of battery life. AmazonBasics batteries cost $0. At the moment, they are not available. These ACDelco batteries are cheaper per mAh as well. As I didn't test shelf life, it's possible that these would last longer if stored in a drawer than in a cabinet. The Amazon batteries and the ACDelco batteries are both made by third parties on contract, but I trust Amazon a bit more when it comes to giving me consistent batteries than I do ACDelco. While I don't seem to have any problems with my ACDelco batteries on the whole. You don't need to replace batteries too much if you don't go through a lot To you, I would recommend that you organize your battery drawer, otherwise it might be difficult to find what you need The product has been positioned around the winner category despite its *50% price difference. In conclusion, since another review specifically mentions that the Rayovac AAAs are good for some particular scenarios, I thought I would share my experiences with the Rayovac AAAs. To put it simply, they are trash It is impossible to overstate how much better the Amazon batteries are. Rayovac AA batteries are probably better than Rayovac AAA batteries, but I think it's more likely that the battery version tested by the website where he got his results is different from the most popular Rayovac on Amazon (I buy all of my batteries via My first reaction was to run the Rayovac test several times after I was shocked by how badly they reacted. Rayovac's typical results can be summarized as follows Input Disch Rt | Capacity | Runtime Input 100 mA | 908 mAh | 9 hours at 200 mA | 590 mAh | 2 hours at 200 mA | 435 mAh | 3. A 9-hour battery runs at 400 mA, 443 mAh, and has a capacity of I have also conducted the following battery tests and reviews There are reviews of Duracell Coppertop, Duracell Procell, and ACDelco AA alkaline batteries posted with the exact same method and equipment that I used to collect capacity data. If you're looking for the product reviews to compare, then you can find them by clicking the links below, searching for 'mah' under the 'all reviews' section (or by clicking.

Money is too valuable to be wasted
3/5

In order to use these batteries in LED puck lights, I purchased these batteries. Battery power is supplied by three batteries for each light. I had to replace the batteries again this morning because the lights were already out. The lights haven't been used every day, I'd say they've only been used about four or five hours in the two.
