The battery (A23) is a specific size with a voltage of 12 volts. This battery is commonly used in fan remote controls, doorbells, and older cameras, as well as other low-voltage electronics. On the Lowe's website, I can't find a 1. A23 battery. 5 volts, but if you did, it's unlikely to be an accurate measurement. Any battery labeled A23 should work if "A23" appears in the battery compartment of your application.

Amazon wanted to know how long my batteries would last and how long they would last. I don't know because I haven't had the battery for long enough. A two-pack of batteries was provided, but only one was required. This is for a Christmas decoration and should be sufficient. I'll almost certainly forget where I put the other one if I need it. I've never had to use this size before, so a two-pack might be a waste; however, the battery works, and that's all I have to say about it.
