Questions & Answers

I was wondering if it was possible to check the expiration dates of the batteries you were ?

Battery I had was an older one. There were only two of them They have two and a half years left before they expire. The batteries were not brand new.

Can you tell me if the batteries you are selling have a current expiration date? Can you update Amazon with the expiration date change for your battery lot?

It was a 2021 edition that I ordered. Thank you. I hope you find this useful.

Do they last for a long time inside of smoke detectors?

An investigation has been launched by the Fire Department. Smoke detectors should have their batteries changed when you change the 'Spring Ahead, Fall Back' clocks. My smoke detector batteries need changing once a year at Christmas, so I know when I last did it. I don't wait for it to beep in the middle of the night to alert me so the answer is a year if you wait for the detector to tell you.

It would probably be better to make the purchase The reason I purchased these specific 9 volt batteries is the same as most other people-- The detectors are used to detect smoke

In general, I prefer to use rechargeables, but they don't hold a charge long enough to be a viable option for me. Earlier this year I heard the sound you all know so back then, back in April Chirping is the sound of the bird. There are four of them in my house, and they're all hard-wired In some cases, it's difficult to determine which of these is the dead alarm, but I always write my room and date on the back of the box so I usually know which one it is. It was the April alarm that used the only 9 volt I had left, so I ordered a 2 volt I would like to have the pack right now (I don't like the chirp). Whatever the case may be, the seller (Mybatterysupplier) sent me batteries that are guaranteed for five years from the date on the They sent me a package dated 2013, but it does not appear to be correct. It also shows the year of purchase in my last packaging of the same batteries I purchased at a local store (remember I record dates on my packaging)! The sets I purchased are working, but I'm not thrilled with the fact that they are expiring So at least one pack wasn't bought more than once. The batteries are almost stale, so they get 2 stars. Expires at the end of the year

It was a good deal, but I think then someone sat on it for a few I bought these batteries in 2018 and they say they're good for five years when stored. But they're marked with an expiration date of 2021. With Amazon, you never know what you're going to get. A company with too many suppliers is not reputable, and I caution against too good to be true prices. The quality of the product is determined by the price.

I do not have an expiration date
3/5

In the last two months, I have received batteries that did not have any dates on the box, packaging, or the battery itself! I have contacted Amazon and Energizer about this, as it is the second time this year. This is an important piece of information, bearing in mind that these 9V batteries are for smoke alarms. As there was a paper bar code label attached to the packaging it is probable that it was put there by Amazon, so maybe the expiration date could be under that, but you cannot pull something This information is visible on the bar code tag on their batteries, but I cannot purchase batteries from Energizer with this information blocked. I have yet to hear from Energizer about this, but I will update my review once I hear back from them. Apparently they are not unfamiliar with selling older batteries last year I received some AAs that were due to expire in 6 months, but I pretended they didn't matter because my Xmas decor uses up batteries in a matter of weeks. AGENDA 06 IS UPDATED The 21st By Energizer, the problem is solved. Batteries do list an expiration date, but there is no indication that these numbers serve as an indication of how long the battery will be good for. When saying the battery is 9V, we do size format, then another line of smaller numbers, then another small 9V, and then a big Based on Energizer, the batteries are due to expire on this date.

It was not packaged in its original Battery packaging was not as expected, I received these batteries in a resealable plastic bag

Since I cannot determine how long they have been exposed to the air, I have no way to know. In case the batteries are not kept in their original packaging, much of their power will be lost. The seller deceived me with his deceptive practice, and I think it was very unprofessional. These are not something I'd recommend to anyone.

If I were you, I would only purchase Duracell or Energizer batteries

The Carbon Monoxide detector starts chirping when it's late on Friday night. Although it's recommended you replace the battery once a year, I don't always do that. How do I put in a new battery? That's not good. The next morning, I had to check the stores again, since my relatives don't do that. So, I turned off the alarm. I ordered these batteries because batteries in local stores are too expensive, and I'm not sure I can trust the brand I normally buy. A week is about what it took for them to get here, not great but ok. I got the batteries for a good price and they are Energizer batteries, a good brand. The batteries have an expiration date of 12/2023, which is four years. A 5 year period It no longer chirps after I put in a new battery. Now I have two extra ones for next time. That's one problem solved this week!.

The product is not in its original packaging and is not as new as you'd like it to be
3/5

It was easy to order four Energizer 9v batteries and I received them. However, they did not come in the manufacturer's package, and instead came in a clear plastic bag. There is no sealed package for the batteries, and there is an expiration date printed on the batteries 2024. I am concerned that this might reduce their useful life. They expire in 2025, compared to other batteries I ordered from Amazon a year ago. Although I had expected the batteries to be comparable, neither the packaging nor the expiration date of these batteries fit the bill. Due to my immediate need for the batteries, it is not possible for me to return them. I will need to use them for my smoke detectors, and previous experience has taught me that it is important to install batteries with about four years of useful life. My disappointment is however great.

We sent batteries that are more than two years old
3/5

As far as I know, this is my first time buying batteries on Amazon. When I buy batteries in a store, I ask the store clerk to inform me of the manufacture date, and I only buy new batteries. As this was a live and learn moment, I keep batteries in a cubby to make sure they are used the oldest first, so I purchased two new 9V batteries to replace the two I had used. They were designed to be used over batteries I had purchased in a store, so I placed them first in the cue to be used. Despite not wanting to give them a low rating for value or packaging, I decided to give them a high rating because I will be able to use them As a result of the turnover rate or merchandise, I would expect that fresh batteries would be sent, but I am guessing that suppliers send their older batteries to be sold on line rather than in stores where the date of expiration can be checked in advance. A live and learn moment, if you are going to use the batteries straight away, it will not be a problem, but if you are buying batteries to keep on hand, it is not a great idea.

It isn't worth the effort

This year marks the 4th birthday of the boy. Battery life is long when you buy them from this supplier, but not when you buy them elsewhere. It was a bit of a stretch to order a pair of 9 volt batteries at a price that was comparable to what I could buy at the A 2016 date is stamped on the batteries. The year 2020 has arrived. This is not a good sign.
