I ordered these in June of 2019 and received them in July of 2019. Only one day had passed since the expiration date. In five years, DEC 2020. For such high-priced batteries, this is inexcusable. And that they've been shipping out newer product for the past six months: It indicates that Amazon's inventory isn't being rotated properly. As a product distribution company, this is their job. That's all I have to say on the subject. If you buy batteries from Amazon and have them shipped to you, don't expect them to be brand new. (It's too bad.)
The 22nd of March is the date on my batteries. According to the package, there is a 5-year storage guarantee. I get a lot more use out of this battery than any of the others I've tried. My TENS units are the only thing I use them for.
Nope. They aren't being resurrected. to be paid
This battery should work fine in a smoke alarm.

The "Quantum" 9v batteries have a best before date of December 2020 and were delivered in December 2019. These are advertised as having a 5-year warranty by Duracell. I've since discovered that Duracell discontinued the "Quantum" battery line in August, replacing it with the newer Optimum line, so I paid for premium batteries and received 4 year old discontinued batteries.
Old batteries are definitely being sold on Amazon. My receipts are dated 3/2023, and I purchased them on January 1, 2020. A 10-year warranty should be included with the new Duracell batteries. There is a 5-year warranty on these old ones. Although they will most likely be fine, the description is technically incorrect.
Years later, the batteries I purchased at the store are still functional. The expiration date is December 2020, so there's no reason to believe this "better" product has already expired. This is the last time I'll buy from this seller.
However, there are no new batteries. The battery's expiration date is December 2020, which is one year away; these batteries are supposed to last 5 years if purchased new. br>The packaging appears to have spent some time on the shelf.
In storage, these batteries are expected to last 5 years. These batteries were ordered in December of this year, but they will expire in December of 2020. I would not purchase these items again.
Take a look at the image I've included. br>br>More significantly, the batteries' expiration date - You can see it in my photograph once more - is December 2020, which means the battery will only last three years. I usually receive a 7-star rating. 10 years.
What a letdown! I didn't want to go to Wal****, but it appears that I will be forced to!.
I checked them with another battery checker I own and they were indeed three half-dead batteries. batteries that are no longer functional.
