The expiration date can be found on the lower left hand side of the batteries if they are still in their original packaging; mine are set to expire in 2023. (I had to use a magnifier to read the date.)
I put them in flameless tea lights and tested them for over 8 hours, and they worked perfectly. In fact, a week later, I had a party, and they stayed for the entire 6 hours, and they haven't died since December. They're something I'd buy again.
Yes, according to my research, the cr 2450 and cr 2450n have differences. If your device requires the n, I would use that instead. The battery cr 2450 vs n in my remote died much faster than I expected.

I almost never write reviews unless I absolutely adore a product, but this is the first time I've felt compelled to do so for the exact opposite reason. These batteries were a nightmare! These were purchased to replace three timer-operated tea lights that I purchased last year. Each one requires one, so I figured six would suffice for the next three days. 4 months. I figured the batteries that came with the tea lights would last about that long, so I figured brand new ones from ENERGIZER would as well. WRONG! They only lasted three days. 4 weeks! I've already used up all six batteries and will need to buy two more! It wasn't an issue because the expiration date wasn't until 2022. And, once again, the tea light batteries last three times as long as these Energizers. ENERGIZER and the product have both let me down.
These batteries should not be used in Smart Things alarm systems. They are smaller in size than standard 2450 batteries and have poor connections.
You'd think that, similar to how all AA batteries are the same size, CR2450 button batteries would be the same. BUT, because they weren't as thick as the ones that came with my LED votive candles, there wasn't enough pressure for the battery to connect when the cover plate was replaced. Before replacing the cover plate, I had to cut a small strip of card stock paper, fold it, and place it on top of the battery to ensure a connection.
These are excellent. I was hesitant to purchase them because I had read that CR2450 would not fit in the votive tealights I had purchased. I went to CVS and purchased only ONE battery, and they were correct; it did not fit. I went to Amazon and found what appeared to be the same battery that I had purchased, but it didn't fit, but the agent assured me that these were the correct type. So I went out and purchased them. I was furious because it didn't fit. Yes, it will fit, said my husband when he returned home. The battery does not fall in or push in like most batteries do with the votive we received. He demonstrated the procedure for me. The battery is placed in a small niche on the inside of the votive; one side of the battery is placed on top of it, and the other side is inserted. It only took a few minutes for me to figure out how to do this, and then it was simple. I paid $5 at CVS for one (which was the same thing). For $16, you can get 12 of these. 00 Instead of becoming enraged as I did, work with it by following the steps my husband demonstrated to me and to you. You'll be overjoyed at how much money you've saved. I hope this has been of assistance to all of you.
The Panasonic CR2450 batteries that came with my security motion sensors were thicker than these Energizer CR2450 batteries. I had no idea that all CR2450 batteries were not the same size, and that they wouldn't work in motion sensors because they weren't thick enough.
Check out the battery percentages from my Samsung SmartThings devices after just one day of use. 67%, 83% -, 67%, 83% -, 67%, 83% - GARBAGE! br>br>The OEM batteries had a 13-month life span. A year and a half! How did this seller manage to get so many five-star reviews? Bots that aren't real?.
These were purchased to go with my Samsung SmartThings sensors. They're fantastic, and the multipurpose and motion sensors will last about a year. I tried to save money by buying cheaper batteries, but I had to replace them after about 30 days. Choose a brand you can believe in.
Be careful who you buy from. These batteries were a disappointment for me. It took several weeks for them to arrive, and once they did, they only lasted a few days before they needed to be replaced. I put every battery in the package to the test, and they all died after only a few days. I'm not sure if this was just a bad batch or if they were all counterfeit, but I had to discard them all. Unacceptably bad.
