We bought them to go with our newborn's breathing monitor. When we received the monitor in late September, we installed the first battery and tested it. Everything appeared to be in working order. We turned off the monitor and didn't turn it back on until our daughter was born on October 12th. When she was two weeks old, we tried to turn on the monitor, but it was dead. We assumed it was a bad battery (which happens) and replaced it with a new one. We'd been using the monitor every night for three weeks when it suddenly stopped working last night. Our son's original monitor battery lasted six months, so there was no reason for these to die so quickly.
Purchase is not recommended. If I had a choice, I would give them a 0 out of 5 star rating. These were purchased to go with my Vortex Viper red dot sight. The first battery had run out of juice. The second battery lit up with a faint red dot that vanished in less than a minute. For. The previous batteries, when used frequently, lasted more than two years. I purchased a two-pack of Duracell replacements, which are excellent. So there was no problem with my equipment; they just sent me dead batteries, which aren't worth returning. The date stamp on the package also stated that it should be used by 2028. So it wasn't even an issue with the product being out of date; they were simply defective.
More than 2 years ago, this item was manufactured - Lower the mAh value. The "Typical Capacity:" on new Energizer CR2 Batteries is "Typical Capacity:" 800 mAh (for a total of 2. According to their website, "0 volts")" is what they're looking for. br> These were made in the year 2017 (UPC 039800022974 - EL1CR2 Photo e2 - a battery for your camera CR2 - Li x 2 - 750 mAh capacity). Reduced by 50 mAh Also missing is a two-year shelf life.
I got about 8 packages and I'd like to return them, but you don't accept returns. This is a ruse, and Amazon needs to fix it. I'm going to call Amazon incessantly until I get a refund or spend $8. Yes, I am that petty that I took up 42 minutes of their call center time.
Don't waste your time and money if the battery isn't fully charged.
Ray O Vac is my second choice. There aren't any complaints. I always purchase Energizer first, and I have never been disappointed. br>br>It will probably be a few years before I know how long this particular use/battery lasted. A golf range finder that is rarely used; I still prefer to measure distances with my own eyes and ears. This has been a great way to double-check my guesses. It was impossible to locate a battery in this area. Thank you so much, Amazon.
I don't see the point in purchasing a six- or ten-pack of these batteries when I only need one, especially since they should last two years in the application. br>These were a good compromise because they came with a 10-year life and only two in a blister pack, and I trust the brand. br>The box they arrived in was huge, and it could have held 50 of these blister packs. So much for packaging that is both efficient and cost-effective.
Mine arrived in retail packaging, and I immediately tested both with a meter to ensure that they were accurate. It wasn't a particularly old date code. I was able to power up my rangefinder without any problems, and I now have a spare.
