If you have ADT and want to get rid of the annoying "low bat" beeping, this is the product for you. It will fit in the ADT box, and the front door will close once the screws are replaced. This is the same battery that was in my box when I opened it, and the entire box is stuffed with wires. There isn't even an eighth of an inch left! I wouldn't risk getting a battery with a higher rating but a larger size. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but I'll figure it out. Because I made a note of the date I installed it, and we'll see if the dreaded "low bat" beeping returns.
Reviewing a battery is a difficult task. Either it works or it doesn't, that's the only option. This is one of them. I connected it to my alarm system and it works perfectly; however, I docked one star because it was shipped via USPS. It arrived a week late after spending several days in a postal facility. For local mail, I only use the USPS; I use a different method for long-distance delivery and on-time delivery.
It's reassuring to know that Amazon will have what you need and will deliver it quickly; the only reason I didn't give "easy to install" a higher rating was because my old battery was attached slightly differently than the instructions that came with it. It is unlikely that you will encounter any difficulties.
My alarm system made use of this product. It lasted just over two years longer than the battery it replaced. The previous battery had a 12-year life span. It'll be interesting to see how long this one goes on for. I understand that batteries fail for a variety of reasons, and that the fact that these batteries were purchased after the system was installed may explain why they don't last as long.

Please note that the second battery I ordered from this company worked perfectly, and I gave them an excellent rating. We tested this battery and found it to be defective, so we would appreciate a refund for this order as well as a return label to send the defective item back.

It is very simple to set up. It only takes a minute or two to complete. It works like a charm after you've hooked it up. I'm hoping to live as long as or even longer than the previous one did before passing away.
