My home smells like a freshly washed load of laundry. I'm a big scent person, and this one isn't overpowering, but it works well for me. I keep it on the low setting. I tried the Gain scent and, while it had a nice clean scent, I found it a little too strong and it hurt my nose a little. I had to keep changing the strength setting because I couldn't smell it at all or it was too strong. But unless I find another scent to try, I'll stick with Downy.

I decided to order because it's rare to find three in a package for under $10. Even with Prime shipping, it took almost a week for me to receive them, and I could smell them as soon as I opened the box. MAN, I WAS DISAPPOINTED. To begin with, the liquid in them was yellow when it should have been clear. One of them smelled like an old lady's old perfume when I opened it to plug it into my wall plug. It had nothing to do with Downy. They all reeked of burnt gardenia, which is all I can think of. Over the next few days, I left one of them plugged in, and on the second day, I threw them all away. I could have returned them, but I didn't want to waste my time having to take them to UPS and have them shipped back due to the liquid. They stunk up my entire trash can, both inside and out, with that noxious old perfume odor. I'm ordering either Febreze or Airwick plug-ins for the second time. Both times I ordered from Amazon, the items smelled like they had been sitting on a shelf for a long time and the oil had gone bad. Simply purchase some from a local store. Do not waste your time or money by ordering these items over the internet.

It works well for cooking/cooking/grease odors in the kitchen. br>I'm not sure how it works with things like marijuana smoke. br>The gain scent is also very fresh and pleasant to the senses. br>br>However, this does not assist in the reduction of odors trapped in fabric. For upholstered furniture, clothing, and even carpet and curtains, I recommend Zep, a direct spray and dry fabric cleaner.

APRIL FRESH DOWNY DOESN'T SMELL LIKE THIS. I was excited to purchase these because I expected them to smell like the downy I adore. I kept smelling PICKLE JUICE after only about an hour of having it plugged in. My adolescent had gotten himself into some pickles, I assumed. This is not the case. My husband commented as soon as he walked in the door that the house smelled like pickles. The smell of pickles greeted us as we approached the plug-in! I'm not sure what happened here- Maybe it was a bad batch? Now I'll return to the GAIN scent. When I opened the three-pack to use one, I tossed the original packaging. Is it possible to return the remainder of the used one, as well as the other two, without the packaging?.

These are fantastic because they have a light, non-overpowering scent. They don't overwhelm your nostrils, even in a small bedroom (where they're the best). There's just a faint whiff of freshly laundered clothes. Even on the highest setting, one cartridge lasts about a month. For the money, this is a fantastic purchase. These are a must-have in any bedroom or small room, such as a home office, whether you have teenagers, pets, or simply enjoy the scent of freshness. However, I believe that these should only be used in a small space. In a larger room, such as your living room, I don't think they'd make much of a difference. Regardless, I'll continue to purchase them. a big thumbs up.

Gain, Tide, Percel, and Downy all have their own distinct scents that fill the air with deliciousness while the washer is running. scents. It would be wonderful to have that scent in a plugin that I could use all day. WRONG. br> br> ALL OF THIS IS FALSE. br>br>I plugged one of these in, changed the settings to MAX, sat down at my desk to get to work, and then awoke 5 hours later from an overstimulated scent coma. The odor is so strong that even after three months, I can still smell it on everything. For those who are curious, I did indeed lower the setting from MAX to whatever the lowest setting is the next day. LOW, I believe the name is. It was only a two-hour coma, thank goodness. br>br>I figured the plug wouldn't fit in the room, so I stuffed it into an outlet in our garage. Since then, I haven't been able to get our car to start. br>br>So, if you like scent-induced comas and dead cars, you should definitely plug one of these in. If you want to spice up your life, try a new scent.
