However, I've heard that this is only true if you have BV rather than a yeast infection. So far, the only symptom I've experienced has been mild itching that lasted about 10 minutes before disappearing. It felt good to be free of the infection's itching, and 10 minutes of slightly worse itching was well worth it. I wouldn't worry about the side effects if you know you have a yeast infection, but if you're not sure whether it's BV, an STD, or a yeast infection, see a doctor first.

It appears to be effective, but after using it, I have noticed some unpleasant odors.
