It's a good alternative; after 20 years of chewing, the convenience of having the can in my pocket and a dip on has made quitting much easier. It's been four months and everything is still going well. If you're a snuff guy, you'll have to get used to it because it's a long cut. However, it is an improvement over the alternative.

Spit tobacco is a good alternative. However, because it contains molasses to enhance the flavor, brush your teeth at the gumline to avoid tooth decay. I was aware of this prior to purchasing, but decided it was the lesser of two evils.

After many years, the Smokey Mountain herbal snuff assisted me in completely quitting smoking (Skoal). I had tried a few alternatives and, to be honest, they were all terrible. They didn't have a tobacco dip flavor or texture to them. The Smokey Mountain product was a huge hit. After a few days of alternating with "real" dip, I stopped buying Skoal. I've never been anxious in my life. I still buy 10 packs of Smokey Mountain on Amazon because I like it so much. It's also about half the price of Skoal.

First impressions are that this stuff is fantastic! Taste, flavor intensity, consistency/texture, and aroma, as well as color, are all important factors to consider. It's right on the money. I liked the product at first because it has a good strong "normal" Grizzly/Kodiak flavor, but the consistency of what is kudzu as a base is simply not doable for me over time. br>br>However, if you're looking for something to assist you in quitting and you're serious about it, This will assist you, and it isn't too difficult.
