To operate, this device is plugged into a standard outlet. If it's not working, it's because it's not properly plugged in. It also has an indicator light on the power button that you can turn on or off when it's in use.

The majority of the sounds are excellent, but I specifically requested the campfire effect, which has a roaring effect that is overpowering in comparison to the crackling noise and sounds extremely amusing. The rest of the effects, on the other hand, are quite nice. I've moved it to my bedroom and use it for what it was designed for. It's a lovely lullaby. It's very relaxing. The campfire effect received rave reviews, which influenced my decision to buy it. I like some of the features, especially the timer. It's fantastic to be able to turn off all of the lights. It's also very small and light, with a long cord that can be used in a regular outlet or just with the USB.
It's nice that it's not powered by batteries.
Because fans wear out and start to rattle at random, I wanted to replace the white noise fan I was using. This machine's fan sound is more like a continuous rush of air rather than a spinning fan sound. The volume control is good and precise, with a wide range of levels rather than just one or two that are too loud or too soft with nothing in between. Because I have to turn it up from one use to the next, it appears that the volume level changes after you turn it off. For the money, I think it's a good buy.
Every night, we put it to good use. We used to have a fan running every night, but now we only have this.
There are multiple sounds in this. They all have a genuine sound. I like that I can adjust the volume to my liking. It is also quite small. I put it on a low setting on the nightstand, and it doesn't bother my husband, who is allergic to sound machines. Win win!.
There's also a crackle from the fire. It's small and portable, and it comes with a library of fire crackling sounds. I needed a "crackler" to go with our new gas logs in the fireplace. This unit is plugged into a nearby wall outlet, and I turn on the fire by pressing the on button.
I bought this for my son, who sleeps to some sort of white noise; during the summer, it was the window ac unit, but with the colder weather approaching, I knew I needed a sound machine because using my phone wasn't working. I've gone through so much with this sound machine, and it's very simple to use. e of the other sounds, but I usually stick to just one and it suffices. It appeals to me and serves its purpose.
I have three boys, and this sound machine has been in the rooms of the two younger ones for quite some time. It hasn't given us any problems. But there was one thing I wanted to bring up. My oldest son is autistic, and as a result, he is extremely sensitive to noise. We joke that he has super hearing because he can hear things that none of the rest of us can. On Christmas Eve, all three boys slept over in that room, and the super hearing son complained that the sound machine is terrible because one of the sounds has a bell ringing in the background "like every 5 seconds!" "br>br>So maybe not this one for families with children who are hard of hearing or sensory sensitive?.
